Every point counts so players will often heal even 1 or 2 points of damage off their shields so that means even less cells and battery 3. Maggie is strong against teams immobile / camping and that happens a lot in custom tournaments since people are playing to reach the final ring as safely as possible. 4.Maggies whole kit is about low cooldown poke damage so even his ult can be thrown with little care as long as it connects and it can also cancel Gibraltar shields 5. Astel has a built in blood hound scan in his eyes. This man is a master of scouting and prediction that's why he's so good at connecting with the drill
I'm always in awe by #5. Like, sometimes he hasn't even seen the enemy yet his drill pierced the building precisely where the team are camping and waiting. As someone who lose track of enemies 2 seconds after they leave my sight, I wish I have 10% of his foresight

As i mentioned bfore, i don't think Shibuhal will ban Mad Maggie for no good reason. Plus it's only astel that knows how utilize mad maggie to the fullest. Just to make sure, despite Astel being annoying as maggie, he's actually friends with most of players in CR Cup and from Vsaikyo. Also another thing is that Astel probably won't use mad maggie in vsaikyo since there will be new legend coming in new season bfore vsaikyo starts, so it will depends he likes the new legend, he might not use mad maggie cos it probably won't be fun just using maggie all the time
I still remember one of the player last season is commented about Mad Maggie Astel "Holy shit! Mad Maggie so strong!" and then "No bro, the one who using it is STRONG" and it summed it up, in every skrim I know (I'm not an apex expert), people not choose mad maggie cause team utility, and no one had confidence enough to bring her in officials tourney cause she's very technical. Astel is the only who can maximized Mad maggie skills in the tourney cause he practicing with it, and master it. It is supposed to be a handicaped rule for him cause he is too strong, but he maximized her abilities to the point every player always know it was him, and ONLY him who can use mad maggie like that in skrim. www just my two cents.
It's still a significant enough handicap for Astel tbh. Mondo just straight up said Mad Maggie is trash and demanded Shibuharu to allow Astel to use other characters but to no avail. After she got buffed a few ALGS teams ran her with edge playstyle and found limited success with it
@@domi8499 yeah maggie is kinda trash when she's not on a good spot during the final ring. Astel's team struggled a bit with rotation but thankfully Tsuna is cracked and managed to let them force their way out of tough situations by beaming people
