    Hi sir. May i ask. USRN po ako not currently working. Housewife for 4years. With bedside experience of 8years,walang experience sa BPO. Gusto ko po sanang mag apply as utilization review nurse (URN). Am I qualified po? At may video ka din ba sir ng mga primary roles and responsibilities ng ganitong work? Nag sstart pa lang akong pag aralan po ang ganitong work. May mareccommend po ba kayong videos to understand more about this job? Thank you so much in advance.😊

    A higher electric bill is one of the drawback. but the increase is not that high. for me im using aircon almost 24/7, it's just a 1.5k php increase in my electric bill. also, you need A/C to take care of your PC or laptop. not just to keep them cool, but for dust.

      After half a year of working as a UR nurse na home based... ang dagdag ko sa electricity sa computer and fan is only 300-400 a month. excluding aircon haha. malamig naman sa gabi, sa umaga ako nag aircon.

    hey daniel! si ollie to. great topic. i was in that situation a few months back. i was a job as a utilization nurse and i was also thinking of the pros and cons of working from home. and after a few days of thinking, i ended up sticking to bedside nursing. introvert ako pero i seek socialization. un tipong bonding after a stressful shift. lol. i think un ang main reason na nag stay ako sa facility.

      Hi po. Im an introvert RN also.. how you survive bedside nursing po? .. nakaka frustrate kasi i know di ako mag eexcel in bedside.. ok din kaya itong UR or any nursing specialty suggestion kung san mas swak sa isang introvert?

      Yes they do have different accounts for PHRN but usually back to office na pag hindi USRN.

      depende yan sa healthcare account, joy. Iba ok, iba need mo pa endorse sa ibang state para ma accept nila.

    Sir madalang ba tumatagal sa bpo as utilization nurse? I mean somehow may mga kilala ka na na tulad ng work mo. Usually kasi dba nag bbpo lang mga usrn pag waiting nalang sa application nila sa US

      Pag nakapasok ka na, parang hospital lang rin, people come and go pero meron rin talagang mga 5 years na, 3 years na. Marami rin nag hihintay nalang ng interview date nila, so usually pag na DQ na, mga kilala ko umaalis na sa hospital. So for me, same lang.

      Yes! WFH parin. Pag natry mo na work-from-home parang ayaw mo na bumalik sa office unless field work ng passion mo talaga!

      Yes meron. But keep in mind, pag non-voice usually mas mahaba ang mga clinical reviews na titignan mo some even ranges from 100-400 pages. MEOW!

    Ilang days po per week ang work? If ever ba waiting pa sa application sa US tapos nag bpo, pagdating sa US matutuloy mo pa po ba siya? Kahit part time job lang.

    Magkano per rate ang offer sa USRN? Kapag nasa US na?

      Really depends pero usually na lowball na sila ngayon sa US. May alam ako nag buy out sa contract then nag work from home siya pero rate is only 25 dollars/hr, this is sa Chicago. it varies talaga at you have to negotiate sa mga company. They call it "unicorn" job sa US as per Facebook group na kasama ako kasi super konti at nag aagawan sila.

      Saan po nagaagawan sa work ng UR nurse role as US? Alam ko hosp malaki offer rate. Mahirap kasi tumagal sa night shift work sa pinas sa BPO..sira tulog kasi consider ang money sa hosp dito sa pinas..mababa.

      It's a good option. Downside lang is naka tali ka sa company. kung mag sisimula ka palang sa petiton, ok siya kasi by the time na tapos na contract mo there malamang hinog na petition mo at paalis ka na.

      I can't because I might be put in a position where people can blame me for their bad experience with the company. So just do your research. Always remember the higher the pay = higher responsibilities.

    I am also a nurse currently working in the hospital but planning to resign para mkapag work as a UTILIZATION NURSE in BPO.
    If malaki nman na sahod bka di na ako bumalik mag abroadnat mg stay n lang sa BPO
    May question po sna ako.
    1.Kamusta ang stability ng work as UTILIZATION NURSE sa BPO?
    2. Hindi ba nkkatakot na bka anytime mawala ang work as UTILIZATION NURSE sa BPO?

      2. Hindi ba nkkatakot na bka anytime mawala ang work as UTILIZATION NURSE sa BPO? > No. May article po sila nabasa regarding that? If yes, please share. I would like to learn more.

      You can check them out sa Facebook groups. I think iba iba rin kasi opinion ng tao. Kanya kanya experiences, as for me, I'm good with where I'm working now coz of permanent work-from-home.
      If you're searching po and plan on migrating sa US soon, I suggest to choose those company na may US branch rin talaga.
