I was an atheist, and when I finally came to jesus, Kari's song Yahweh was the first song I heard the brought me to tears, I'd never even thought God existed, and to hear a song so powerful that brought me to tears and to my knees, I felt the love of God rush though me every time I heard this song, praise god, he is ever faithful!!

@@robbie12359 well its complicated, about 9yrs ago my husband and I were going through a terrible time, we got married young, and things were just bad. One day we got into a huge fight, and i felt powerless, I had no idea what was happening. So for the first time in my life, I went into a room and literally fell down on my knees, I was crying hysterically, and I begged God, I said if you are there show me something, anything, help me to know whats happening to us. Not even an hour later something impossible happened, he showed me what I needed to see, I opened my phone, and on my phone was an email open, it was my husband's secret email, now we didn't even have the same phone providers, and I had been looking at my phone an hour before that after my husband left and it wasn't there. God showed me what I asked for, and we were able to heal our marriage, this summer we will be married 11yrs, and because of God, we fall deeper in love every day, what God brought together, no man can tear apart. I never had a doubt in my mind after that. I hope this helps you in your journey, be blessed ♡

I knew I was a sinner on my way to hell and asked God to save me. I am concerned that you have mentioned nothing of the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross in your testimony. I am glad your marriage is strong but honestly that has nothing to do with salvation. Please consider the repentance for your sinful life and trust in Christ's sacrifice alone as that is all that can save you. The time is short.

Would we consider Mrs. Jobe's testimony as a powerful testament to God's victory if Kari had been born with multiple disabilities? I entered the world missing many fingers and toes. I am also "perfect" in the eyes of the God who I know and love; I trust there is nothing "wrong" with me, either. Crushing words. Why do we stumble short of "10 fingers/10 toes," ambulatory, cognitively typical? Who knit me together in my mother's womb? Amen for the faith and love of all parents who embrace naked vulnerability and trust God in the face of overwhelming odds, including Kari's parents.
Yes, that is very true. Who are we to say who is more favored and blessed from God just from what our earthly minds think? You are perfectly and wonderful and fearfully made by God no matter how you were born with and without certain gifts :)

What a blessing she has been to so many of us, and you know what I love the most about her, is that she has not waiver in her faith. Many other artist have began their journey in church and in the process of gaining fame they have left their faith or have compromised, but Kari has not. She has been true and faithful to her faith in God and that's the reason why she's able to touch so many lives thru songs. Kari, you continue going forward. In our eyes and in God's eyes you are famous, after all the kingdom is your reward. God bless you all.
What a powerful message: "God takes our passions and turns them into our calling." I've really been struggling with what to do in the future as approaching college. I've fallen in love with music. Writing songs, singing, & playing instruments has become my sanctuary. I feel that the Lord is leading me to major in music. When I tell people that I want to major in music, many people have been discouraging me because music is hard to get in to. It is unpredictable and would not provide a steady pay. But I know that Jesus will lead me in the right direction. This message has impacted me and I just wanted to share with you guys that God will provide. I'm trying to continue to trust Him and His will for my life.

My son Michael is an amazing dancer which is what he is currently studying at university. He did not go into business as his brothers did at university but we encouraged him to follow his heart and passion. Michael was also one of the dancers on stage at the Pan Am Games opening day ceremony in Toronto in 2015. May God bless you Haley. God doesn't turn our passion into our calling. All that is in us including our passion is a part of our calling.
The urge that makes us want to pursue it for His kingdom is the urge that was given by Him when He made us.
@@genesisbenavides4976 The first question you need to ask the LORD, where is the urge or motivation coming from? Is it because someone else is doing and I wanna do it too, or because the LORD really has placed it in my heart?
You know when I was young, I always wanted to learn guitar but I never got the chance and thank God I didn't cause God saved me from entering into the secular world. I wasn't ready for it you know? God knew what time He needed to hand me a guitar haha. But the moment I came to the LORD, it didn't even take me much to learn the guitar because that was a part of my calling and that desire was put in my heart by God because of my calling.
But there were times when I saw people with other gifts and talents and prayed for it from a place of jealousy you know? But I understood that what He has given me is unique for me and so I don't do that anymore.
So my advice would be asking the LORD where you motivation is coming from. Because if it is from the LORD, He will teach you just like He taught me. Sometimes, just like me, His timing.. He knows what to give, when to give. Sometimes it's the place of motivation, where is it coming from?
Also, gift isn't only about playing, singing, speaking and about the stage you know?
Prayer, interceding, compassion, love, faith, faithfulness, obedience are all gifts that no one really sees, but they bear fruits in our lives.
You may not be able to play the violin, but you may be faithful in what the LORD asks you to do. That is a gift. Not everyone has been given the strength to be faithful. So don't give up, but pray and remember, it's always the little things that are bigger than what we think as big. 😊

And sometimes God actually calls us from our struggles and weakness like I think He did with Saul/Paul in the Bible, Moses had killed someone, etc.
He sometimes calls ministers to jails of those who’ve struggled with addiction, theft, etc.
Just seek His kingdom and His righteousness and He will provide everything. After the passage quoted in 1 Corinthians 12 comes the passage that basically says above all the “gifts,” and I would say “callings” is LOVE. EVERYTHING ELSE FAILS.
And Matthew 7 reiterates the concept about motivation.
If we don’t do what we do to DO HIS WILL alone He could very well say He never knew us.
May we seek to emulate His description and example of love through Jesus, the bluntly truthful dedication to His definition of righteousness, but with a shepherd’s willingness to lay down one’s life for others who usually don’t and can’t ever earn that dedication, LOVE for God, ourselves and others, in accordance with the greatest commands, summation of all the commands and teachings.
Kari, anytime you feel tired, worried or weary, know that your ministry has affected a life, probably many lives, but especially mine. I thank God for your willingness to serve him. Please don't give in to pressure to go secular. You're singing about the greatest story ever told.

I absolutely adore her music and the Heart that she has for the Lord! Every time I see her sing, I can see the absolute deep love she has for God and it brings tears to my eyes! I thank the Lord for a mother's faith - Sandy Jobe. This is an incredible testimony of overcoming (Rev. 12:11). The life of Kari never could have been but for the rock solid faith of her mother. As I replay this testimony it is encouraging my faith amidst many challenges on my journey to possess the promises of God for my life and ministry. Blessings!
Rev 12:11 in context is talking about the Saints in the great tribulation not us now.

What a blessing it was to watch this. I never knew Kari was a miracle baby. God had His hand of protection on Kari during the time her mother had the tumor. She could have been born with a disability or could have died but she was born a normal baby. Praise God!
