Ep 3 - Traded our 25 Foot Caravan for a 24 Foot Boat!! Exploring the Underwater Worlds of Northern WA
We find the most breathtaking sea-life as we take on the pristine waters of the Western Australia coastline in our larger than normal boat.
Cooked up ourselves and our mates a feed of coral trout at the end of the day to top it all off!!
Life really doesn’t get any better than this!

I can't believe how grown up and switched on Evie is. At 13 she acts like a grown up. Helping with the boys and does jobs to help out, amazing. Well done mum and dad. Respect.
Eavie is very proficient at sectoring the squid. You have a very skilled Fisherwoman right there Mom and Dad! Great job not only are you showing your children the very best in upbringing but you're doing a very impressive job of teaching life skills too!!

Ah, I can see it now, Truck, Caravan, Boat. Truck should be able to tow both. What a fun way to spend day. Seeing those mantas so close was a joy I bet. Fishing, swimming enjoying the bounty of the ocean. Thanks for bringing us along. Cheers TJ

I wondered whether Kylah may have felt sea sick. Carrying a bubba inside can do that to you. Those Manta's were epic ( as was the mumma whale and calf) . So graceful and beautiful. They are made of similar stuff to sharks but their temperament is completely different! They are curious, love scratches ( we are talking Manta ray here NOT Stingray), and even come back to places where they've met a loving human before and hope to see them again.
Oh'o out loud when one of the boys was reaching for the newly made fillets to wash them in the sand! Lol... I absolutely loved seeing all those Brim. They really look wonderful in the wild.
Evie, you are a star. ⭐. Helping Dad with fishing, filleting and catching, whilst lovingly looking after your younger siblings, Mum and family in general. You are incredibly lucky to be living and learning this way of life... don't grow up too soon. Enjoy every, bloody second of the journey.... 🦋🦋 🦋🦋🦋💙

We are so lucky. It’s so beautiful and so diverse. I’m trying my hardest to teach Ellis how to dive. We are getting there slowly. Eavie is amazing at all things.

This is just great Aussie life many of us lived back in the 1970s during my youth, only we had one large tent, then upgraded to the 23 foot van and annexe, my dad had the tinny to fish from, we had a permanent set up in van park Tathra Nsw, with all my cousins..Keep sharing your lifestyle no matter what, this is “healthy sharing and caring” Australians need more of today..take care Mum, your a trooper, baby #4 cant arrive quick enough, hence why Dad out madly fishing with sharks 😂..

Looks amazing wish I did more of this. Sad thing is that I live in nth qld where we have the GBR and we rarely do anything like this. Glad to be watching thru your eyes. Now it’s time to batten down for a cyclone, wish I was there.
Set some goals to do a trip, we seem to do this in australia, we take it for granted unknowingly, take care with this menacing cyclone.. my goal is to purchase a van this year, I’ve personally done GBR, The Kimberley, also an ex flight attendant, saw a lot from above, not enough by land.. don’t wait Trish, life is for living.. ❤
@@highvibe4839 yes we going to start, we are currently building out a truck now and then will start building a tiny home and move to wherever we want for the next 20 or so years. No fixed address can’t wait. It’s just such a shame that I haven’t done much earlier and live right here.

It's a beautiful manta ray and it's a plankton eater very Graceville and majestic creatures they can get a lot bigger than that nothing to be scared of
I realise they are harmless. But they are still very big!! And it’s kinda daunting.

Wow how lucky , I have considered getting a boat but our laws and licenses over in Europe are a pain , I’m 60 and the thought of taking courses and stuff kinda overwhelmes me a bit
Yeah fair enough. The laws in aus are pretty good. It’s not hard to get a license. But there are a fair few rules

Hmm…….I’m sure their life jackets are readily available. It's worth noting that while only 8% of drownings occur during boating, the majority, with 27% each, happen in rivers and at the beach yet not a life jacket in sight. Look at the size of the boat and sea state, I’d do the same.
Life jackets were right there ready to go.
