Here's a little known tip for you guys I learned after watching one of Rendi's low level combat fight caves attempts. The rotation for the fight caves spawns are on a timer, so which rotation you get depends on what time you ENTER the caves, according to the in-game clock, which you can find in the clan chat tab.
It took a little math, but I figured out the times (UTC) that you can enter the caves to get the rotation where Jad spawns behind Italy rock as shown in the video and you can "safespot" him. When the healers spawn I tag each one and then run behind Italy rock so that I can kill the healers without having to worry about prayer switching. I do this every time I get a Jad task and it makes it easy and stress free to have the same rotation every time. AM or PM does not make a difference for these times. They are:

alright, so I'm a total noob when it comes to Jad and legit died at least 10 times maybe 15 over the course of 1 week of trying it. I've watched every guide and only finally managed to kill it thanks to being able to enter the caves and get him in the right place thanks to your comment. You literally saved me hours of frustration Legend.
Edit: I almost died as missed 1 magic pray, funny enough I decided to record my attempt to see why I keep failing. After reviewing the video, apparently, my mouse would not register 1 left click every 30 clicks or so. This is the reason I kept dying ~facepalm~
One thing that helped me after dying a couple times to Jad was saying the attack style out loud as I was changing the prayer. It helped a ton.

It's absolutely worth noting that you're further ahead to pray range when Jad comes out of you're not in view since the damage hits you 1t after the range sound (meaning you have to click the prayer exactly when you hear the sound) compared to the mage hit which is 3 ticks after the sound.
Beginners, pray range at the beginning of the fight and change as needed.
Knowing this fact is huge, but you can utilize it more than just at the beginning, I found that if you pray range as default and then only pray mage when you hear the mage attack sound and then switch back to range after the splash, it saves you from how risky range is and you just never get hit
Took me 9 tries. Never have had my hands shake ever in a video game. Even playing professional halo. Was an amazing experience.
I got a nerve bugging me for 2 weeks the back of my neck because i was so tense during 3 straight attempts and still failed
I'm on the grind now. Attempt 3. I've never felt so tense and terrified and he doesn't even seem that bad. I got to wave 62 doing melee my first try

Needed this man. I've been so lucky with Jad spawns on my last 3 failed attempts, all have been behind Italy rock but I'm too scared to move incase I get melee'd because of blowpipe range and then panic like hell when healers come out and screw up my switches. Hopefully 4th time lucky with this guide!

Awesome vid, taking the healers slow made the fight way more manageable! Tbh, this is one of the most useful guides out there. Short, and to the point on the trickiest part of the caves
Chins are a life saver. Use them to aggro all the healers at once. Just wait for them to be next to Jad. Equip them back on Jad. Then switch bak to original weapon and right bak in jad. Don’t try to do too much between each atk like Asuka said. One action per attack
Dihns bulwark is also awesome for this but requires pressing the special attack bar
Do the healers come back out if jad reaches full health?
Been screwed over too much trying to use the sound method so I just pay attention to the animation, much easier for me.

Just got my first firecape ever, on my iron too! Watched your vid right before the final wave to get the mindset down, thanks man great video!
For remembering which animation does what attack I like to think about it logically. Slamming the ground makes a rock fall from the roof which is a physical attack so ranged, standing up to shoot a fireball is magic so mage. Helped me to remember which is which but maybe that's just me who needed that. When it got tense I tended to blank out but this helped

Watched this guide on wave 60 beat had at the end after two failed attempts before. Your a legend. My switches were perfect.
smooth sailing after the healers IF YOU HAVE HIGH DEF. these healers can hit consistent 7s and even up to 11 or so (I think). they completely screwed me twice (so far) at 72 def with full blessed d'hide/fury

@@saintsocky1346 I haven't been back since writing that comment. Apparently the best thing to do is pull the healers around a rock to handle them away from Jad. I've heard of people using chins to hit them, too, but not sure how that's supposed to work
Yeah following this guy's advice just got me killed on my first attempt lol. If he had mentioned that the healers need to be killed on if you have lower defense then it would've been smooth sailing. He made them sound no big deal so I figured I could tank them with 70 defense too but nope. I should've read the comments first.

The whole video was most helpful, but what I needed to hear was the one action per prayer switch/Jad attack, and the healers were giving me the most trouble. That was a sweaty couple of minutes there, but I pulled it off with your advice! THANK YOU!! (This was my 4th honest attempt to get the damn thing, but I hate sitting down, and I hate wasting time even more. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!)
Edit: The line from the wiki that got me through was something along the lines of not panicking when making a mistake, advising focus and calm, duh, but I needed to hear that and keep it in the forefront of the old noggin.

Another trick is to watch Jad's back leg... if he moves it then it is a ranged attack if the back right leg doesn't move then it is a magic attack

Also a tip for low levels you can bring ancient magicks with blood spells to heal up. I take like 8 karams and rest prayer potions. And if you want to "save" somec prayer. Ancient mace special. And a book to swap for the shield when you only have mage or ranger.

Decided to send an attempt off task because I’ve beat DSII already and got it with the 1 action method crystal bow to tag healers and using chinchompas. I beat Jad and am so happy!
The bit about clicking a healer and then clicking under your character to prevent movement just saved me from having to sit through the entire fight caves again
LMFAO. I have been playing since 2005 and I had no idea that the orange mage was where Jad spawned; I would literally just pray mage and look for him and hope he didn't range me until I found him - I've gotten tons of fire capes in the past but haven't played since trailblazer league and needed a refresher and this video helped more in the first 30 seconds than any video I've ever seen lol.

Funny. A few days ago I had my first rematch with Jad since fire cape. I botched it when healers came..
First attempt: I clicked to kill a healer, shot then ran straight into jad automatically. Got one tapped with melee and died.

Can’t go based off of range sound the time u hear the range sound it’s to late.
It’s not too late. I don’t watch the feet personally I do it by sound. And I’ve made it through triple jads in the inferno several times using sound as my main focus.
i only based it on if i hear mage or not, if i dont its range.

@@HarmlessOSRS stay on mage as a default because you might be able to tank a range hit. Use a blowpipe and eagle eye for the fastest kill possible. Don't worry about the healers or just aggro 2 or 3 of them.

Thank you so much bro got my first firecape with this tip, but I safe spot jad, put my bp on long range, then hit the healers 1 by 1 and ran to Italy safe spot, then put my bp back on rapid and killed jad!!

This is just a personal preference but on the jad wave I keep up magic protection watch for his stomp and then swap to ranged, tank the hit and swap back magic because for me that stomp is such a tell to swap to ranged protection. I was messing up so much on his magic because he just rears back and stays and it would make me panic swap haha

For anyone still trying pray ranged at level 7-30, mage from 31-jad.
@jad just make sure u entered at the right time for the right rotation for ur method. Flick prays till healers, then one pray protect and healer tag at a time till u have all four. Then ignore them and tank to finish jad.

Hi, at 1:51 minute mark, how did you know to change from mage to range? I tried watching the video multiple times but it just looks like a 4th mage attack coming but you changed to range prayer correctly. Please advise?

a tip : keep ranged prayer on and only switch to mage if you hear the magic attack coming,dont bother listening to different sound
When the healers spawn I usually just wait for them all to gather around jad and then throw a chinchompa there. It aggroes all of them in 1 hit
Got mine after playing the game for over 15 years, was a very emotional moment at my friends house almost cried, it is very hard these bosses as someone with ADD I hope to do some other bosses now! This was one of the main reasons I quit and came back multiple times, felt like if i couldnt do this I couldnt even do one of the most basic necessities in game.

With multiple jad kills for slayer, I have a question. What benefit do mains get for getting jad behind Italy rock? Is it that the healer spawns are more manageable to pull? I can definitely see how it would be beneficial for melee or running for a quick breather to heal p pot and what not.
What if you're fighting with melee?
Bring some black chins, switch to them once healers come out so they get tagged, then switch back

Nope. Jad will always be able to hit you. Your best bet is trying to either trap the healers behind jad or just getting them in a line to only tank one of them.

@@Ancient_M1nd i did. Don't be discouraged. Took me 4 hours because I messed up on the healers and got hit and had 2 life left. Hid behind a wall and waited till I was full again before trying again lol. You'll get it though. Just relax and breathe.

The healers keep killing me.. well they keep damaging to the point I need to heal and then trying to heal and watching jad then switching I just get confused and hit the wrong prayer
I keep on dieing on the healers my prayer switches are perfect before they come as soon as they spawn I fold
I must have missed one of the healers. They kept healing eachother and ended up killing me on attempt 2. I was prayer swapping correctly damn near the whole time. Got to 3 hp and ran out of sara brews. So it kinda effed me.

I died the first time I got to Jad but it helped to not have the in-game sounds on. That shit got confusing once the healers came since they make their own sound. I recommend not taking your eyes off of Jad before he attacks and then once he does, you have a couple ticks to make a move before he attacks again. Use this time to restore hp or prayer and kill each healer individually rather than stacking them all at once. I got wrecked doing that on my pure.

How accurate do you have to be with flicking? so for example, you will either see or hear what he'll do, then you'll click? Like, i dont understand, i will so fk up the flicking...haha
Turn on the correct prayer when you hear the sound or see the animation start. Leave that same prayer on until you hear or see the next one start.
As someone who finds jad fairly easy ,he still gets my nerves everytime lol. That's the hardest part is trying to stay calm. I can't imagine what the inferno is like

I've noticed with the orange one, if you are a fair distance away from when it spawns, it will come closer to you and doesnt give an accurate place of where jad spawns. Done me over before.
