All the denim jacket in my collection have two problems in common. One. They are too cold to wear in the winter. And two, they take forever to fade!
The Sherpa Rider Jacket that just dropped from Benzak Denim Developers solves both those problems. They've solved the matter of being chilly by adding a super-soft sherpa lining to their already amazing Rider cut. And the solved the fading issue by developing a denim with the Italian denim mill, Candiani that is made to fade super fast. So let's get into the details.

I love the fit on the jacket, works really well with my body type.

one potential problem when layering if you don't size up you might compress the lining and what ever sweater you are wearing reducing their ability to insulate.
True, but I find that is it not so super tight even without sizing up. It has been very cosy the last few days where the temp has dropped.
I’m really struggling at the minute as I love denim jackets but also love jeans. I can’t seem to pull off the double denim and look like a cowboy 😂
I really like the double denim look but have no desire to look like a cowboy. If that’s the look you’re going for though cowboy boots nail it together. Any other footwear you’ll just come off as a denim head.
Haha, I just embrace my inner denim geek and go all out with the double denim Dont be shy. Or you could also mix it with a faded with raw or a black denim.
Double Denim is just as much Rock & Roll as it is Cowboy. Oasis, Iron Maiden or The Beatles. Be a Rockstar! 👍🏼
So you know any selvage or raw or at least indigo denim jackets that are under or just a bit over 100€ new that has a cord collar? Preferibly blanket lined but unlined or sherpa is ok too. I have my favourite denim jacket which is the concealed carry blanket lined by wrangler but it is stonewash and I wear a canadian tuxedo with my denim jackets. I wanted one with indigo, too.
Hmmm. That’s a bit of an ask at the 100euro mark. Maybe have a look at eBay. A second hand or vintage might be the best bet.
I was sold on these until you said that the arms were narrow. Unfortunately I can't do slim fit arms.
I mean, narrow in respect to the bingo wing arms of the old style jackets. These are not spaghetti slim by any means. I can measure them if you are interested? :)

Hey man. Hmmm difficult to say. I went true to size. Best idea would be to measure your existing jacket and then compare it with the size chart on the Benzak website. Check it out here down at the bottom.

I have a size M naked and famous elephant 6 jacket that’s been faded a bit, starting to get amazing honeycombs on the inner elbows if anyone wants to take it off my hands. I’ve grown out of it and I hate to see it just sitting in my closet. If anyone’s interested, reply to this and I can get you more details.

Hmm, I was never all that into the blanket lined jackets. I had one thinking it would be a warm alternative and in the end it was not all them much different to a regular denim jacket with a flannel under.

Hey man. Hmmm. Yeah they are a little hard to find these days. If you’re in Europe. Call up the 14oz store and see if they will ship one. They are the only place I know of that had loads.
