I am a 56 year old 2 time breast cancer patient. In 2016 when I found that it had metastasized to my bone I made lots of changes to my life, but primarily my food. I am also spreading this message as much as I can. I teach middle school kids. What they eat is terrible! Between chemicals in food, toxins in self care products, and excessive vaccinations they are SICK! I want to help this movement after retirement (1-2 years). I live in Michigan
A buck fifty for a bowl of cereal, which according to nutrition guidelines is usually about a cup, a Single Cup for a serving. I don't know anyone who finds a cup of cereal filling and I certainly never measured my cereal when I was a kid.
Doctor Chris van Tulleken wrote the book called "Ultra Processed People" where he explains the journey or petrol byproducts into the food including margarine. I highly recommend this book which can be understood by anybody. The book was published in UK. Thanks.
Wow - a Kellogg's boycott! I do not live in the US so it was (good) news to me!! More similar boycotts should follow, and the targets should be all the major food companies, who own what people in the 'developed' world eat and get sick from, day in day out! This is the quote of the century, from Max: 'If your grocery store has a health food section, what does it make the rest of the store?' Keep up the fight against lobbies, profit hungry executives and their armies of com mercenaries!
Max would love you to bring awareness to bovaer and how it is entering our food system. Has show to shrink ovaries and testies impacting fertility. Lot of push back in Aus and the UK been no one seems to be talking about it in the US

I am surprised that they are cherry picking the not so significant problem. The cereal itself is a much bigger problem. Those additives are just a cherry on the top. There is no "safe" cereal in any country additives or not. It is a junk food.
@@maxlugavere I agree. That is a nice sentiment, however it is unavoidable in many cases. My children are fed this garbage at every school celebration, birthday party, etc. Also I can’t force their grandparents to get on board. They are of the belief that if it is a brand name then it is good. Very much a generational thing. We are making progress as a society, but it is much too slow.
