If you think about it,a mobile game is a smart decision since thats the largest gaming market. There's a reason why you always see big youtubers being sponsored by games like Raid Shadow Legends or why Epic Games has spent billions to bring Fortnite back on mobile. They make so much fucking money since everyone has a phone already as early a 9 at this point. Considering how huge the mobile market is,its a good opportunity to use that to get more people into the franchise

Bungie to NetEase: we've got a lot of assets lying around, see if you can monetize the fuck out of them by putting them in a mobile game and give us a cut if it worked.
It reminds me a lot of d2 vanilla and late d1 in terms of aesthetics and models. But there were plenty of new designs like all the new supers and abilities. As well as a super cool revolving shotgun
They certainly seem more efficient than Bungie gotta give them credit.

I love seeing mobile versions of games getting cooler stuff to mess around with then the actual game.
This looks fun, however whether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let's get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta'aurc. From what I can gather he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.

The microtransactions in the main game will fit perfectly.
Do people really consider stuff like seasons and dungeons microtansactions? Because the only micros I see are the extra stuff for like solstice pass and skins. And the solstice pass is just more skins. The closest thing I see to an actual micro transaction for more than a skin is buying levels for the season pass. Which is just objectively stupid. 95% of silver purchases are purely connective and even the ones that aren’t aren’t pay to win style.
I just don’t get the weird obsession in destiny fandom with them.

I don’t agree with the mobile game plan, but it’s cool to see the other things guardians can do with their abilities. (PUT IT IN THE MAIN GAME)

It does have controller support, so you could just play it on bluestacks.
Its surprising how bungie manages to be simultaneously impressive and disapointing, impressive in the substance of what they make e.g, warlock scythe, void grenade cannon, actual shield/barrier.
But disapointing in that it will never be seen in destiny beyond a mobile game

What does a “good monetization system” even mean? If you know what bad monetization is, then you’re not the target audience since mobile games target people with expendable income and/or bad spending habits.
I find it interesting that people are complaining about something, but those complaints are directed at the original destiny2 or pete guy and not this game.
Have mixed emitions about it: on the one hand, don’t wanna dive in the mobile gaming, on the other - how can I miss anything connected to Destiny universe?! Especially pre-D2 lore

I was kinda upset before that Bungie was making a mobile game rather than focusing on D2 or a potential D3, however, three things:
1) Bungie isn't making this, this is another studio using Bungie's IP
2) This looks cool af, maybe if Rising does well, we can get some of these ideas into D2
3) Bungie will obviously have some of the profit from Rising, so if this game does well enough, it'll give Bungie more resources to put back into D2 and help it recover from TFS performing worse than expected
This game looks great. But I’m so mad that they sacrificed destiny 2 to make a mobile game. Instead of focusing on the main game.

Net ease is a pretty good mobile game developer. They’ve done better work compared to other companies like tencent. Time will tell if the game is a banger or not.

This looks incredible actually- For gods sake bungie this is what you need to follow- this right here, is what people want, in destiny 2 or 3. This is what everyone asked for in the main game, new locations, weapons, skills, supers, enemies, another big story. Revive the universe and give us a new aftermath of the witness not just episodes.
