Mohiniattam by Bindu Rajendren - Jeeva

This Jeeva in Marma Thalam and Begada Ragam is a beautiful composition by Padmabhushan Shri Kavalam Narayana Paniker. Jeeva, performed at the end of a Sopana Seva, represents the journey of a devotee towards the sanctum sanctorum of the eternal and universal God - Parabrahma. The composition encourages the seeker to find happiness within by understanding that our progression towards enlightenment is akin to ascending a set of stairs. Sharing snippets from a much longer choreography that was performed at the Koothambalam at Kerala Kalamandalam.
