Ok....just got the email Paul, and watched your video. Looks to me like all you did was replaced the stock center bushing with a new one. How in the world does that change the rpm??? Unless the new bushing is aluminum rather than the stock steel one? Now if you changed the roller with a lighter one, that would
make sense. And if the new bushing is aluminum.....will that wear as good as the stock steel one??

Since this kit raises the rpm stall to 3000 what would be a good number to set idle to? Also, if 3k rpm is going to put me at higher torque during takeoff, how do i prevent belt slip?

Would this be a good idea for a 1.5 stage Tilly 212 or is it not quite there yet for this?

You could put it on a stock tilly. It just raises the engage RPM so you take off in higher RPM's in your launch. I have a stage 1 with stock Jug and LOVE IT! Soon to be stage 2 in coupler days tho!

Are we just going to ignore the fact that he said “bust the nut”?

Juggernaut took my hillard clutch from 8600rpm down to 6100 rpm!! Its not worth it on a high hp engine 15 plus hp. Waste of money. Stick with jackshaft its lots faster. And I changed gearing around.

What driven spring would you recommend to pair with the stage one juggernaut kit?

Need to make a kit to lower the stall, i have a 236 on my daughters yard cart just due to the fact it doesn't vibrate like a 30 series clutch, but the engagement is too high for a normal yard kart machine. I unhooked one spring per arm which definitely works but makes the idle speed have to be pretty low.

Try adding thin washers on either side of the bolt to increase weight.

Make sure the belt you have is fairly snug as well. As the belt wears (or is long to begin with), it raises the engagement RPM and raises the drive ratio, robbing you of some low end torque.

LOL, ok just take my money. Just another one of those small details to make our engines as bad to the bone as possible. Love it.

Just got my kit today but Ive tried with 2 pretty powerful impacts and my 10mm allen WILL NOT CRACK open the bell! I'm so mad...spent nearly 2 hours and had to put it back together...stuck with a 40 dollar stage 1 kit I can't install. Talk about let down. Anyone have any Ideas!?!?
