Fran, you need to get a t shirt made with that quote: "Boxing is a pressure business etc". I'd buy one. I've committed it to memory anyway. All the best
@@myboxingcoach you're more than welcome. Your channel (and some others) gave me the confidence to start boxing again, even though I am no longer a young man. Wish you all the best with it.
Great Video Coach! one question, does the rear foot really have to be an "L" shape? because I see in most fighters they usually angle it just like the front foot.
It varies a lot from boxer to boxer. So, I'm really relaxed about back foot position...aligned like the front foot, off to the side. I've even seen some boxers with it pointed slight back. Find a comfortable spot :-)
Good video, if you're looking for ideas for the next do more on chasing an opponent with a combination, I'm forever outta range and my sparring partners just keep moving i have started practicing these but I'm pretty limited to what feels like it works probably a 1-step-2-3/3b is the best I've found. Im gonna try the faint b-jumpstep-3-2 Would love some more to drill. When you throw your hook there's very little rotation from your hip or front foot, is that just because your shadow boxing? I am, especially as I've said I'm always outta range really stretching with my long hook and turning my body right into it?
Hey guys, i am trying to learn more about shifting stances or shifting in general, switching between dominant and non dominant side and how to setup things that way, do yall know some boxers that are very good at this? (Or any standing up fighter)

That's a great idea Philip. I tend to get a bit lazy on stuff like that, but I'll definitely look at some options :-) Thanks pal
