Oh, and it looks like Minotauro has armor that challenges Ho-Ri even more than Maus does. However, it's still not enough even with the help of terrain. Minotauro defeats with its DPM, not its armor.

premium ap shells are always great because you only lose little alpha and you can still cut through tracks and angled armour unlike heat and sometimes apcr. That's why any tank that has it is a lotta fun to drive

Video is good, but there is one mistake - Ho-Ri's penetration isn't the best, it's similar with Jageroo and obj. 268. And when you choose not the DPM, but penetration in first slot of equipment, you have only 398 mm, when obj. and Jageroo has 418 mm, and this is the best penetration.

Then i guest you don't know about Shell Normalization mechanics that only works on AP and APCR.
Premium AP on Ho Ri has 5° of shell normalization which means that 5° able to significantly decreases effective armour thickness. Let's say E100 upper plate is around 424mm effective. Surely Jg E100 or 268 even *WITH* calibrated shell equipment (418mm pen) can't pen it.
But judging that Ho Ri has 380mm base pen, that 5° of normalization able to reduce effective armour to around 60-70mm. Therefor E100 upper plate is not 424mm effective anymore....now it's only around 367mm, therefor Ho Ri even *WITHOUT* Calibrated shell (380mm) able to butter through clean the E100 upper plate. Isn't that CRAZY!?
*NOW IMAGINE* if Ho Ri running calibrated shell with 400mm of pen. It can and will butter through a fully hull down Kranvagn or Minotauro. No one can't pen a fully hull down Kranvagn and E100 upper plate except one tank: Ho Ri
So about the video saying Ho Ri has the best penetration in the game isn't a lie. It's Fact.

And Thats the reason Why WG balanced the Premium AP by only gave 5% of pen buff for AP and APCR and 10% for HEAT when you use a *Calibrated Shell Equipment*
Thats why many players say that AMX M4 54 has very bad pen since it only has 310mm but they forget that this tank also shoot premium AP just like the Ho Ri. And this what make the AMX has the best penetration cabability of all tier 10 HTs and not the opposite.
Imagine if AP has 10% buff of pen when using calibrated shell. That would make Ho Ri pen very very broken.
