sorry for the self-promotion I normaly really dont do this but I made also a replica of Vah Naboris. It took me many many Hours and at the End I think the result is really really good. I would love to see the creator of these levels make Hyrule Castle from BotW and have a Calamity Ganon boss fight in it. Ooh, and maybe a Dark Beast Ganon boss fight. That would be awesome!
Vah Medoh was my FAVORITE! But why were there heartbeats at the beginning of Vah Medo instead of music?! Anyway, it did a superb job of translating it to Mario Maker with the pipes and tilting the whole thing. The boss battle just being a time endurance was sort of a let-down though.
The way Vah Ruta moved the trunk was also quite clever. The music really didn't fit, however.
With all of them, a lot of the sound effects kinda broke the feel for me like the "YAY!!" and the random crashings. Dodging the ice blocks for the boss fight was really cool, though I wish it wasn't just a timer minigame.
Did the room even rotate with Rudania? I was fully expecting it but I honestly couldn't tell at all. It just seemed like a series of random puzzles than a recreation of that divine beast. The boss battle with the bombs was by far the best of the four, though! An actual boss fight instead of an endurance run.
Vah Neboris was really clever with the first bit, getting inside as well as flipping the interior. I was just totally lost with the second half, though. Also, again, the music just really didn't fit. It should have been the creepy gray gloom.
Overall, some great reimaginings with a ton of effort clearly put into them; just held back by the sound design and some puzzles trying to be recreated a bit too literally.

As these are my levels 2-5 that I ever created, I had not so much experience with some elements, especially the sound design, and felt that peaceful or creepy, which were the two ones that were the only ones available to use for the whole dungeon, did not fit that much better either (especially given that the creepy grey effect turns the visual part grey-ish as well). Anyway, I believe that a showcase and extended feedback that I can actually use (compared to the very limited MM2 comment section) can help me improve as a maker, and I totally see why the standard SMB3 music feels a little off (also, I had no idea that people hated the Yay Sound-Effect, but apparently some do with great effort haha). SMW has nicer soundtracks, and I will use that style some more in the future.
For the Vah Rudania issue you mentioned was the problem that the dungeon turned sideways 90 degrees, not up or down, which effectively makes it impossible to show in MM, and as I tried to faithfully recreate every single puzzle and element of the dungeon, some of them do indeed feel a little strange in MM (I totally agree that sometimes, a bit daviation from the source could have made the level a bit less confusing). I tried to emphasize the feeling of the turned room by reusing elements (as the black blocks and the bumper for the puzzle in one state reappear in the other one), but I can totally see why it didn't work out for most people (compared to the other dungeons, at least).
I learned a lot while constructing and adapting the titans, and I believe that I really have a better idea (and, given your feedback even better!) of how to adapt a complex 3-dimensional structure in 2D-MM. Good thing is that the more classical Zelda dungeons, which I'm probably approaching next after Hyrule Castle, are much less focused on the three-dimensionality of the dungeons themselves.

@@KouseMusic Hey Ryden! Really loved playing through your levels, so much so that I even downloaded them. The only two things that I felt took away from the experience were the soundtrack and (less so) the visuals. I do believe the Super Mario World style (or even, perhaps, the NSMB style) could have made it absolutely perfect. Would you ever consider reuploading the same levels in any of those two styles, even if that implied making some slight adaptations?

Beautiful. Vah Medoh and tilting the machine by going through pipes was genius. A clever twice-twice-like mechanic. Also the lifts in Vah Naboris and the two wheels with the P-switch timer as Stasis timer were very clever. Loved the pixel art at the end of each one. Thanks for compiling this video!

In the naboris dungeon I identified the part with the munchers like the sección of the dungeon were you has to use two electric spheres to transmit energy and open a door, but because I didnt round the second ball I actually used all my weapons and equipment to transmit the electricity
At this point someone could just remake the mainline story botw or oot in MM2 as one level.Only thing preventing this is the hardware limitations.

These levels are awesome.
These remakes are no puzzle at all compared to the original.
The most important part that makes Divine Beasts a puzzle has been left out: The On Off switch.
I suggest making a course that functions more like a Divine Beast rather than looking like one.
Include:
On Off Switches and another key mechanic used to solve 5 puzzles
A pink key coin for solving each puzzle
Boss Battle after key door (Don't forget checkpoint)
Optional Puzzles for 50 coins
Some Ideas:
Superball Flower
Twisters
Shell Launchers
Icicles

I never knew about the tilting mechanic about Vah Medoh.
I beat it without ever realizing that!
I had this same idea but wanted to make the puzzles all fit into one "room", so a lot of them are pretty simple. And all the blight ganons are magikoopas.
I was planning on making my own divine beasts remakes but these are way better than I could've made.
I like the vah naboris customization.

I don't want to downplay your creation of the Divine Beasts, but wouldn't it be kinda odd if there were two? Then again, it would be kinda cool to see two different versions of it! Imagine getting one after the other! That would be incredible! Keep going!

If you drag a power up to a pipe it will shoot out that power up when you're playing. Same with enemies. Different color pipes shoot at different speeds.
But you usually can't go into pipes that spit out items
