Mike Healey was a courageous pioneer. That guy was an absolute fearless rider, competitor and early user of the whip "scrub". In his day he could whip harder than anyone. Sometimes he even landed completely sideways and pulled it off and other times it didn't end so well. Through it all he was exciting to watch, another one that left us too soon ! RIP Mike
Rest in peace Mike, I've been through similar things he had went through. In the end, he deserves respect because those guys at that level of racing are iron men. To hop on a bike for years and years in a row and really not knowing if the next crash is it! That's serious balls, people fall. We can't judge, not our place too. He deserves his place among the elite racers to ever suit up....God rest his restless soul...
125 GP 1990 Halle Holland 2nd race on 30 degrees heat. Open helmet with just goggles no chest pads and just phenomenal race. Did that big tabletop almost every lap and just blew everyone. WHO remembers that just AWESOME performance ❤❤❤❤️
Devastated to learn the passing of Mike Healey, met him at 1989 British 125cc Grand Prix in Hawkstone Park when he had tremendous battles with Trampas Parker, Bobby Moore and Alex Puzar. A super exciting all out racer who added charisma as well as talent to Grand Prix motocross in the late 1980's and early 1990's. He may not have won a world championship that his speed deserved but he was one of the riders fans would pay good money to watch race. When he was on top form and fully fit one of the fastest riders in the world at that time for sure. RIP Mike. Thank you for the memories.
Great job with this. I know you had a personal connection with Mike. The guy was so good at racing a dirt bike but not the politics that went along with it. R.I.P
Thank you! I appreciate you watching the tribute Jeff. Mike was one of a kind, we connected very well right away, I'll miss the moto legend....RIP GUNNER
Thanks for your work! In one interview he let us know, he made the stitches for himself. Because once in a hospital they would not give him permission to compete at the same week end!
Hey brother, I commented on your interview video about the fact that I had lived with Mike and wow such strange timing of it all. One thing I thought of which could be very cool a compilation video of clips of Mike but to the song of Social Distortion’s Sick Boy. Mike told me he went to school with Mike Ness and the song was originally written about him. Just a thought Rest In Peace Mike
The king of saddleback on a mini. Insanely fast! We all have demons some more than others. Mike had his share paid his debt and overcame them. RIP Healey I’m gonna miss you my friend.
I have had a lot of the same thoughts as I get older. Basically why did it take 40 years to grow up and become an adult and quit being a jerk for no reason. Sometimes the drive to walk your own path is overwhelming. Sorry to see you go Mike.

@@johnnycash578 Johny Cash was a follower of Jesus for what its worth. You couldn't be more wrong about Jesus my friend. There is far more historical proof of Jesus than there is of Caesar, and I am sure you believe there was a Caesar? You can find the truth now and repent and call out to him and be saved or wait until after you die when it will be too late. I really pray you find out in this life.
