You’re absolutely right on simplifying woodworking. All the fancy crap out there gets expensive. Wood working should be about making stuff. Sometimes you need a way to make it! Keep being creative and simple my friend!
Hey brother ! You got it my friend , will do
Great explanation of how to make and use these jigs! I built a jig like yours when we did the shelf competition, couldn't have done it without that jig. These will come in handy as hell when I set up my new shop after moving. Thanks my friend for your help and inspiration!
Nice nice
Thank you for your simple explanations. I loved making furniture 40 years ago, and am getting back into the shop now. I've always struggled with jigs, and can see making each of these in my new shop. You have a way of teaching that I really relate to, and I leave each of your videos feeling confident. Thank you so much for all the time and effort you give. I know it's making a difference in many people's lives.
Hey this comment means a lot to me , it’s my absolute pleasure and an honor to have you along for the journey . Skål 🫡
Yes!!! Thank you Obi Wan!!! 😊
This will be on my Playlist, can't wait to try box joints and I have zero jigs, so I needed this!
Thank you, brother!!
lol 😂 no worries it’s my pleasure
Great way to simplify them all. So many other RUclipsrs make them overly complex.
Indeed they do
Love your simple approach. And great editing. It must take hours to do these videos. I appreciate it. Thanks man.
@@AusWorkshop I counted the number of shirt changes, to see how many days Daniel invested in preparing the video... (even with the misaligned nipple buttons). Lol

@PPerquin Well spotted. Good nipple alignment is an essential part of woodworking I've found.
Thank you very much Daniel - love your content all the way from Manitoba Canada
🇨🇦 🍁 🇺🇸 🦅 thanks bro Skål 🫡
You made it look so simple
You can make em too brother
I like your idea, sharing is also very interesting
Thank you 🙏
I just recently built a miter spline jig using another method. Yours looks much simpler and more usable, I'll be building it soon. Thanks for bringing us such great content. Keep up the good work Daniel.
Hey that’s awesome man , thank you
As usual, awesome advice. Thanks for sharing.
My pleasure bro
Thanks for making a cut without a track saw or straight edge!!
My pleasure
Good video. I also like big push blocks.
Hell yeH
Love your shop
Thank you friend
Thank you for this Daniel! I really need these as I currently don’t have anything like this and I about to go get my dads table saw. Perfect timing 😊
My absolute pleasure
Thank you Daniel for making a jig compilation vid for us 🙏🏼💜 Can't wait to be back home in Ohio where I can make each of these for myself. Hope you and the Entire BV Crew has a beautiful week! 😇🤘🏼
Hell yeah kat ! Praying for you and the pops
@@Bearded-Viking-WoodWorks Thanks 💜 Appreciate it
Plain & simple jig making & god bless the algorithm.
My jointer/taper jig is about 4' long with 3 t track. I use it mostly for getting 1 square jointed edge on rough stock. I also use it for flattering one face in a thickness planer. I use shims and hot glue to hold the board.
Nice 👍🏼
Added this to my "project" list - Thanks Daniel!
My absolute pleasure
Jigs make work easier . good video
Thanks you
Thanks for video I wanted make spline jig.Like all those jigs thanks again.Have a great evening. I need get busy making some.
My pleasure bro
Love the video! I was slightly disappointed there was no Daniel Dance Off though... 😂
I'll be making some of these this coming week!
😂
Daniel, Once again, this is an Awesome video. I have made a couple of these jigs already, but no where near as good and especially as simple as the ones you made. I fully intend to re-make what jigs I have, and add a couple more to my arsenal of jigs. Thanks Again for another great video. You Rock. Skal.
Hey man thank you so much for
Great video sir, definitely gonna have to add the miter spline jig to the arsenal
Nice 👍🏼
Missed your opportunity to dance the jig! 😅 Great stuff as always 👍
Lol
Thank you for some great ideas
My pleasure
Gettin Jiggy!
Always great content!
Skal 🫡
Time to get even more 'jiggy'. Short, simple, sweet and Effective! Thanks
Yes sir Skål 🫡
Outstanding. The miter spline jig is on my short list. I'll need to make a second one for 60 degree corners, but that is easy enough.
Hell yeah brother
I have to say that is a sexy slide. I always like to make sure my 45 degree cuts are sexy. Lol.
Indeed
Thanks for the jig video brother. greatly appreciated!
Absolutely brother ! You da man
Love your content man. Keep doing your thing. Your videos are awesome!!!
Hey bro I appreciate that man , thanks so much
Love the Briggs & Stratton miter saw. Best woodworking music on RUclips. Thx
Hell yeah thanks
Awesome video. I'll be making a few of these soon.
Alright 👍🏼
this is one of my favorite videos you have done, thank you. keep the videos coming
It’s my absolute pleasure
Super useful video! Thanks Daniel!

You never fail to amaze me at the quality videos you put out. Simple but great tools. Thanks for sharing your ideas
😊 thank you so very much
Awesome job Daniel
Thanks bro
Power packed
I need to make these jigs you made it easy to follow so here I go can't wait to get them made thank you
My pleasure
Simple and easy the way you got this. Thanks
Thanks
Getting Jiggy with it! Great vid
🤣 yes sir thank you bro ! Skål 🫡
Great jigs! Thank you for sharing
My pleasure
This video is perfect timing have some leftover maple plywood can’t wait to make these! 🤘🏼
Awesome 👏
Great vid as always Viking!! 🤟🏼🤟🏼Love making jigs…I’m actually about to build a box joint jig for my router table but your table saw jig is great!!
Thanks brother
Thank you man I love how simple this jig build is. Been looking
Great builds and you can't beat a duel purpose jig in a small shop setting. I think the combination taper/jointer jig is the most useful thing I own for my table saw. I was fortunate enough to get a pre-made version as a gift, but I know I'll probably wear it out and have to build my own someday.
Nice . 👍🏼
Nice one. Thanks dude
Thanks👍👍👍
Thanks Brotha another great and informative video. Rock on 🤘
Thanks man! I needed this video
My absolute pleasure bro
I like big push sticks and I cannot lie.
😂
Well, that was fun to watch. Kinda disappointed that the miter saw converted back to an electric motor during the spline jig build. I'm going to be looking into converting mine to gas.
Subscribed.
Hahaha 😂 thanks for the sub my friend , happy to have ya
Daniel my brother. You are rubbing off on me... I have no idea why this happens but while weed wacking/string trimming my sun baked brain starts singing your addadabofglue song. 😂
Gonna start sending you my therapist bills!
😂🎉
😂 that’s so awesome ! 👏
Algorithm? I've seen your dancing, you seem to have rhythm. 😜 Seriously, I need to make the taper jig first, but more for joining than tapers. Then the spline jig for box making.
@@pantango5503 😂 oh my this is such a great comment! Thank you . Have fun with the jigs and get jiggy with it
Awesome Daniel! Thanks for the video!! FYI...Your nipple pasties are uneven!!! Blessings and Skål brother!!!
Hahaha
What do you think of using MDF for these, particularly the tenon jig.
That’d work just fine boss

I apologize for side comment but got a commercial about adoption of animals. These companies are stupid. I love dogs and want one but I am responsible enough to know as a single person that works heavy hours, I can’t take care of a dog or cat in manner they need. I maybe a small pop of your viewers but much heavier than some organizational channel. Sorry I needed to say it. Your content is normally awesome and this video was and know you don’t control RUclips extras. Great ideas or ways to do things on a spin. Btw. You use “burn” a lot. I know what it means. Idk if your whole audience knows. It’s like me do a horizontal or diagonal motion through the air as I work on a property while calling a measurement. Many don’t get it. Or spinning up or downwards figure suggestion with people that haven’t dealt with a crane op.

Brother, I appreciate your videos, but can you please use a push stick for your table saw when you're making these tutorials? I cringe every time I see your fingers get really close to the blade. Plus it sets a bad example to the beginners. Just food for thought. Love your channel though.
My fingers are in no danger ⚠️ and I appreciate your concern , you see me using push sticks when it’s dangerous . Skål 🫡
