I’ve been out there twice this year it’s been cold this year the water is taking forever to heat up this year the last time I was out there it was slow but the water was little on the murky side the spillway was do what it does this time of the . The boat I fish is limited on how far we can go but does the job. Me and my son has catch 4 6 pound fish this can complain where else can you catch fish of that size
Coffee tube junky here. I miss the old ones where Kevin and Denny were in blue shirts. Most durable tube and best colors ever made. Red shirt (new formula) is still good but…not the old ones. Still have a few blue shirts stashed for special trips. Great stuff Z!!

I remember starting there with my Jimmi Jig, just because I knew it would have my co angler digging thru his box, and by the time he found something close, I would be done! ....luv ya Mark / Neil ....the good ole days!
Maybe I’ll try fishing my tubes with heavier weights. I’ve always used 1/8 or 3/16 ounce at the most on a VMC rugby jighead. We have so much rocks up here in Idaho I’m afraid I’ll get snagged up really bad if I used heavy weights?

Love that smallmouth fishing, I wish I could get up there with and find spots like that.
Kalin’s style grub can also be pretty deadly in areas like this. Love seeing you fish areas I also grew up fishing.😊

Just got are boat out of the water there at 740 this evening I was walleye fishing tonight though . Me and my son got are limit cold out there still

Now do you braid to fluorocarbon or straight fluorocarbon.
I’ve seen shows Mark says he likes braid to a super long fluorocarbon leader like 15 feet
