One Republic is the only band that I've always been a fan of without me even consciously knowing. Thank you guys for being part of my life since I was a kid and listened to your music on the radio. Now I really want to see them live for once.
i feel that so much! there's a bunch of songs that i liked in isolation but never pieced together that it was the same band... and a bunch more songs by other people that were written/produced by Teddy!
If you ever have the chance, do it. I saw them with Needotbreathe a couple months ago. Great concert.

It's July 9th 2023 who is still listening to this incredible masterpiece.
So basically the kid represents nature (he takes power from the forest) and he is there to save the guy at the end of the video.
The guy is the only one to wear a mask with three faces. The other bullies are the shadows, his problems or his bad influences and the kid throws them away to rescue the guy and take back his true self, that his beautiful (inside).

I felt ashamed for laughing at this because many people have problems like this.. :|
Ben Timmins if you really are getting bullied- please don't give up. It CAN get better! I was bullied pretty bad in Junior High and also High School. To the point of physical violence. But I always knew that the way I was on the inside (which would always show through on the outside- hence the bullying) was the way to be. I knew the people who tormented me were hollow, and empty inside. Most likely dealing with damage of their own. But I didn't feel sorry for them. When you choose to destroy someone else to feel better about yourself, I have no respect for that. But I will say this: I wouldn't change my past because it made me who I am today. Someone who cannot stand to see suffering. someone who will fight (literally) to defend someone else. Remember: a bully's time is short. Their legacy is only in memories of contempt; perhaps pity. And if you're lucky, like I was- you'll get the chance to meet up again someday with one of those bullies and find out that you can connect, that sometimes people are genuinely sorry, and that forgiveness is the sweetest freedom of all.

The message was that the bullies were actually the ones in need of rescuing and not the dancing kid. When the dancing kid was accompanied by the other kids, standing up to his bullies, he became more powerful. As the last bully took off his mask(facade), he came to a moment of realizing his mistake, hence, backing off, and being 'rescued' by the dancing kid, leaving away his 'facade' as a bully.
