do u or anyone know who the new final boss of the games "friendship ending" thats talked abt in the importsnt read me thing is? they dont even mention how to get that ending and theres so much new stuff but im rlly curious who it is
the translation just released, i'm documenting all of the stuff on the original neutral route first. after that, i'll go to the "bros before hoes" route, the chaos heroine route, the law heroine route and then the betrayal route.
it's... both a remake and a fangame and i haven't completed it yet. so far my expierence is mostly positive. to truly appreciate this game is to complete smt1 while also sitting through SMTVX's weird descisions such as: -walking on the overworld BURNS YOUR MAGNETITE -ammo is no longer infinite in this game, so you ended up buying large sums of ammunition in order to continue using them for grinding. -auto sometimes makes you waste ammo, so just mash accept or unequip guns if you're gonna grind. -not being able to heal demons while in the COMP, you have to summon them first... EVEN WHEN THEY'RE DEAD! -revival items and treatment cost so much money. -and the most infuriating... demons not returning to the COMP when they DIE! and no, i tried summoning a demon on top of them during a fight... it didn't work however, the game itself isn't bad, it has some interesting stuff: -mappara no longer exists and the game has a mini-map... which is VERY MUCH NEEDED! -demons can now level up. so if a certain demon with a skill set you want can't be obtained because of your low level, you can just stick to a lower level demon until you got bored of it and fused it with something else. -some melee weapons now deal status effects. baton and triple staff can stunlock faster than Zio and Bufu lol. -certain demons now have different skill sets. -some items are different now, a talisman is basically a luster candy thats very costly in this game. -Yuriko is now a recruitable ally and there is a new LAW aligned Heroine named Yumiko, i'm not gonna have them in my run of this game... as it was my first time with the game. -exclusive demons i have yet to encounter/recruit/fuse... unfortunately there is no compendium or skill inheritance system but a lot of demons from what i'm seeing has buffs so it's all good. so if you are curious about this game, check it! out but be wary of it's frustrations.
That last frustration isn't actually as bad as you think. If a demon in battle, you return them first, then summon a new one. And it doesn't take two turns - heck, it doesn't even take one turn. As long as you have the funds, summoning and returning demons don't take up any of your turns. You can replace a dead demon and still attack with the Hero. Analyze is also a free action, which is incredibly useful if you want to remind yourself of an enemy's resistances.
And even if you lose a demon, you can have a low cost one with Recarm ready (yes, you can teach new skills to demons in this Fangame/Remake thanks to the hacker)
If I was given the choice of allying myself with a guy who's cool with dropping a nuke on me and the entire city I live in, I'd probably turn him down, too.

How is SMT VX? I recently replayed SMT 1 and 2 and this remake looks interesting. Is it pretty good?

@finalsurvivor1
ah i see... turns out i was wrong... i'm just so used to smt1's structure compared to smtvx's
Y u fighting him?:/

Am I correct in assuming that Thor is immune to charm unlike the original game, and Marin Karin abuse to trivialize bosses won't work?
i don't think so? stunlock is real tho.
