When you speak of the hands in the hadouken... a long time ago I use to wonder what was the detail in the center of the fireball animation in the game and paused it one day to catch a glimpse. The impressions of their hands in that position they are in when tossing the fireball remains in the center of the fireball. So them placing hands in these fireballs is actually the highest level of attention to detail you could get.

Yeah I remembered seeing something in the sprite but never paused to see what it was (or atleast don't remember doing that) but nevertheless seeing the hands in the fire ball just kinda threw me off for some reason, even though I don't know what else would be in there... But yes, the attention to detail here is excellent!

You will find the hands inside the hadoken in SF2 Turbo, SF4, SF5, SF6, including box cover art variants where Ryu is putting out one. In the animations the hand doesn't change, the surrounding sprites and graphics change that's why you know there is an impression of the hand inside the hadoken

I loveee this line! Is straight out of the video game! I also remember when SF2 came out in thr arcade...those were the days wasting quarters!

I have the others, but this is my favorite Ken action figure. It looks like the art/game. The hands are supposed to be in the hadouken (Wave motion fist/punch). If you slow motion the Street Fighter II sprites you can see them like an after image. The hadouken is a physical manifestaton of their attack using ki/spirite energy, that exceds past their physical bodies. It's like punching farther than arm's length. The only reason we call them fire balls is because that's what they look like. Ken never had a red hadouken, but Ryu got one in Super Street Fighter II. In the same game Ken got a flaming Shoryuken punch. No clue why he didn't get FX for that.

I agree. This figure is just a lot of fun. Honestly, I've just been really enjoying this whole line (at least the ones I've got). I seem to remember seeing "something" in the sprite but I guess I forgot and really just wasn't expecting it to be their hands lol. Although idk what else it would've been...
