    You, my dear, have the patience of a Saint. I wish I could do that. I usually get too anxious and put down a darker layer when I should just keep on with the light layers and let the color come out. This is one of my favorites of all the ones you do. But I am partial to roses. I'll just keep on trying. You are so talented.

    Oh, I'm loving you're doing a page from Floribunda. I adore this book but was afraid to touch until now. Hopefully now I'll have a page colored with your tutorial.

    Hey Chris, I'm always curious- are your videos sped up when they don't directly say they're in real time? How fast are they usually sped up? I usually slow them down but it would be cool to know how slow I need to take it down to be in "real time." Anyway, than you for so many great videos! I've done about 6 of them!

    Out of interest Chris which level do you use for the pencil sharpener, I got one and it doesn't take anywhere near as much wood away as my others, hopefully the pencils will last longer x

      Out of interest, Margaret, may I ask which pencil sharpener do you use? Are there sharpeners with which you can choose levels to sharpen?

    • @margaretbrownhill5919
      @margaretbrownhill5919 8 лет назад

      parsleybrain hello I was using a M&R sharpener because I was nervous about the Prisma colours then I got a helix manual with 4 levels of sharpening but it took way too much wood away. Then a few weeks ago I saw what Chris was using its a TGAAl multi angle sharpener, so cheap as well. If you look at Chris's pencils that's how it sharpeners just go get the point back again, it has 4 settings but they are pretty similar and are not taking loads of the casing away, hope that helps x

      I am usually ok with any kind of sharpener, all works fine to me.

      Thanks for the detailed answer, Margaret. The only thing I make sure with sharpeners is that they have a sharp blade and it has to fit the barrel size. I have several heap sharpeners and they all work very well. Will check out never theless the sharpeners you talked about.
