Another great and educational vide. Thank you for sharing your journey and experiences. Learning about places and cultures that many never get to experience.

There was the Zastava and Lada. I mean about the cars. Actually about people... in Serbia they are very friendly. :) Waiting for your next video about Sofia. I am planning it for the next year.

@@FreeMilesMCIt was Lada Niva ( with huge roll bars in front) but motocycle which you saw on parking, resting place is Keeway Superlight 150ccm 12,7HP one cyl. Retro style cruiser made in China. ;) Nice video, bro. Regards from Serbia, and have a safe ride! 👍

Actually it is 150cc. The first models of Keeway superlight were with 150cc. After some years they changed the engine with 125. There were 2 motorcycles from that range. With 150cc and 250cc. I had the same motorcycle, even same color like 16-17 years ago :)

This one is 150ccm ;) One of the forst imported series in Serbia, later they bring 125 ccm. Owner cut rear fender and remove passanger seat to look like old "Indian" ;) 😂 Btw, these bikes not bad, at all.. fuel consumotions friendly. ;) My friend travel on similar one from Belgrade to the Montenegrian coast, spent vaccation and return to Belgrade without any problems. Just...cruising speed was ' bout 50 mph or nearly 70 km/h.
Keeway made, also a ##Landcruiser/ 250 ccm V twin( copy of Yamaha Virago 250 ccm) and looked like a Harley Davidson Fat Boy. For me, better model than Superlight. 👍

Hey Miles! Maybe you can share the costs of the trip, after you finish it of course. I'm curious how much did it all cost to travel to all those countries (gas, food, hotels, etc..) Safe travels, hope you are enjoying it ☮✌

Whether a country is considered dangerous by the German Foreign Ministry depends mainly on the country's good behavior towards Germany and NATO. Serbia continues to have good relations with Russia, so Serbia is dangerous. It's best to just ignore it. If I'm honest... being considered dangerous by German ministries and offices is more of an honor than a warning.

It’s Crazy to become more and more aware of dinamics Like That and that Most places don’t work that different after all.
It’s just a Bit Shit also because it makes it imposible to actually know what places are Save and what places arekt and with there at the Same time being a Kind of fals positivety it. Makes it imposible to know what places are Save and what places arent. And the only way to find out is by going there. Wich can always go one of two ways

Always take the statments on those websites from the Foreign Office with a grain of salt. E.g. take a look at their site about Thailand. You would thing there is a civil war going on. Yet Germans go there without batting an eye.

I've travelled quite a bit by hitchhiking. No matter what reputation an area or a country had, nothing ever happened. Maybe that was because I never travelled as a "tourist" with a lot of money in my pocket. I always saw the local way of life as a model and tried to live as much as possible like the locals. I got to know people that I would never have met as a distant tourist. From Portuguese bullfighters to Angolan families, in whose homes I was given food from what little they had and was allowed to spend the night. It's so much different if you just get used to the circumstances and don't act like a Graf Koks from the rich north. However, I always travelled like a mendicant monk and didn't have any more money than the local people. Whether that's still the case on a moped tour today... I don't know. But I was always proud that I never paid any attention to official warnings. That really leaves a mark. That's what fascinates me so much about your tour. In principle, you don't do it any differently. Keep going, and later you'll feel like you've really lived. And not many people can say that.
