As I have said to MartyT (another RUclipsr), your corner of New Zealand looks surprisingly similar to my little corner of northern California in the USA. Good on you for saving that old machine!
Thankyou Anna ! Haha I follow Marty also , he’s very talented. Yes it’s amazing how places can look similar , we have many landscapes in New Zealand all are stunning in their own ways . Cheers
@@jimifix copy that, pacific north West Hill Billy has done what you are doing to a cat d4, he virtually has the whole thing torn down and man it looks like a big process, but as you said it's a shame to see it rot or go in a scrap truck. Hopefully the crank is not locked to a main bearing as that means engine out Good luck mate , great videos to watch and look forward to see what's going on in sump room. Cheers from Taree NSW Australia.
Awesome ! I’ll check it out , it’s a big unknown really until you start digging around , I have a feeling the crank is fully locked , but let’s get inside the belly of the beast first !😂😂😜 thanks for the comments cob , make sure to subscribe and share with the mates

U done well to get it there after the big effort in moving it.
Good luck.
Thanks muppet 😂 I’m nervous to what I will find or discover but I’d love to see it mobile again , seems a waste to let it rot away
