It's body colour is an ebony purple and the Kaweco logo is in bright pink font. I think the two colours complement each other so I recommend you check it out.❤

I am also a Kaweco collector and the Art Sports are my favorite and I bought two of the new ones. I've been trying to stop myself from buying the Ebonit sport because it's so expensive 😞

Very good video, I have the Ebonite pen on back order, so looking forward to it as it looks a beautiful pen, I received the Kaweco AL Sport Fountain Pen in Mercury Orange 2023 Limited Edition from Goldspot last week and it is a gorgeous colour.

I already have the Supra Steel. Great pen. I won’t buy the black as nice as it definitely is. The Copper Lilliput is one I love dearly and use quite often. I have the green Lilliput as well. Looks lovely. But it’s much too light. I briefly wanted to buy the Bronze Sport, but the unfair price put me off. I now want the new Ebonite pen. Again, the price is really ridiculous and quite unjustified. So, I’m not sure if I’ll get it or not. Still thinking and undecided. Very tempting, though. edit: I think I’d actually most want and save up to buy the Sterling Sport.
This black one is nice and I wish they had a black nib to match. But I prefer the weight of the Supra Steel. And I am not afraid to get it scratched. The Bronze Sport is also nice, the color and weight. I would prefer it to be copper, but... And yes, not inexpensive. As the Ebonite is not inexpensive, and the Sterling one... It is really hard to objectively justify those buys. But, on the other hand, as collectors and users it makes so much sense...
If it came with a 14K gold not toned/coloured nib, a wider pen enthusiasts market. For that price, can get an ebonite with 14K gold nib with a ‘sexier’ packaging. Purely for Kaweco Collectors or people with plenty of $$$. Not even numbered too.
I did once a one kind of full collection video, showing where I keep all my pens. And I also made once a full Kaweco Sport collection video. I think I need to think about making a few more videos of that kind.

I understand your point. It is not cheap. But ebonite pens with gold nibs are not cheap as they used to be...
On the subject of black metal Kawecos, I was looking recently for a Stonewash Black Sport, but could only find Blue. Did I imagine the Black one ???
