Absolutely beautiful! I love how you added dimension by creating angles and clean lines. The little raised garden beds are just perfect for the space too! Excellent video!
Fantastic job 👍 I like that it's low maintenance , I would put more flowers in myself nice bright one's ,but I love it .Could do with you sorting !y garden out for me lol 🤗🤗
Beautiful, well done, one criticism ( and it’s just my preference, I’d have had more curves on the path than the zigzag effect) not keen on straight lines in natural settings, but other than that good. Plenty of colour and you kept a tree. 👍 well done.
very nice indeed :) I am just making a start on my very poor condition garden, just looking for a bit of inspiration ha ha, take a look at mine, how would you fancy taking this on lol
Might not be that clear but the garden did rise about 2ft front to back, we made it level by hand... not something I want to do again! Granted it was not a on a hill side though ;)
Wow 😮 It looks really nice. Did you do it all by yourself? About the timber decking footings, did you have to dig deep or did you simply put concrete block on top of the weed membrane? Also about decking lights, did you have to get electrician in to wire from the house or solar?
I had help from a few friends, mainly to help with the digging and heavy lifting but most was done by me and my partner, she is a real trooper! For the footings I dug down to solid soil roughly 200mm then tamped down to ensure solid base, then I set a concrete block into wet concrete to ensure correct level. The garden building already had power supplied by buried armoured cable, I just soured off that with the low voltage lights Cheers
In reality the garden wasn’t that wide and the palms took up all the space ( needed room to kick a football with my son) . I didn’t cut them down I dug them out and sold to a landscape gardener who used them on a project. Never done paving before so wasn’t too confident in doing curves! Maybe when I redo the garden in my new house I will incorporate some, cheers for the compliments Markus 👍
Dònalee Slack i actually used heavy duty woven landscape fabric designed to allow water to perforate through it. It’s probably not that clear in the video. The palm loved it and grew about 10 feet in 2 years! We moved from the house 2 years ago so I wonder how big the palm is now! Cheers
In truth it cost me more in skips to get rid of the earth than it did in materials! Sorry it was a while ago but all in including waste removal it was about £1600. read to think what the labour cost would of been if we payed others to do it!
Nice work! A great transformation. I'm always surprised to see palm trees in englannd, lol. I'm from Florida and palms are everywhere.

Thanks Steve, will be starting the garden in the new house soon, I’m sure there might be some curve action in this one ;)
Wow, fab job.

Buen video no tengo casa!! Pero me gustaría hacer algo parecido cuando la tenga gracias por compartir
Love what you did with the yard and glad you kept one of the palms.
Nice job, you get what you pay for and have chosen well.
Very nice 😀
How I envy anyone with a level garden.

très très sympa
Nice job, but sad for the palm trees that you chopped off. Would have left them and used more curved path.

@@piperben Oh no! You did all that beautiful work and you're now moving! Pity! Great job, a really pretty garden.
Was only 2 bedroom house and needed more indoor space, we now have another project to do but might not get to the outside for a year or so yet!
Not sure why you would use blk plastic under decking . How would the palm get water. Landscape fabric allows water to pass thru
