IITs are in a way helping American tech industry n silicon Valley to grow, indian tax payers who subsidized their fees end up getting nothing, this is a the sad reality no one really care. we need IIT level pre school, primary education and world class ITIs.
They provide money and quality education , some people like this profesor giving it back, there is nothing to blame them because we need more funding to research and companies to promote research, it is good indians getting knowledge from USA may they come back and give good things.

Wish, if you could do a video on your professional subject - CHIPS. Content - why established players (don't want to name them) have gone nose diving while new comers like NVIDIA, TSMC have gone sky high in recent past. Taiwan, smaller than Kerala has become the powerhouse of Semi Conductors globally where industry and academia is meeting each others' demand and exploring opportunities. For referral purpose, Bloomberg videos on the subject may be very informative about Semiconductor industry telling what went wrong for big players who were concerned about Wall Street more than the employees who were the value creators in the industry. Didn't surprise on Prof Dileep comment on AI. We don't know when Wall Street may tell the world NVIDIA is tired.
Universities and other educational institutions in Kerala should have a long term plan to nurture the people like Professor Dileep to strengthen their professorial backbone. Our higher educational institutions significantly lack such talented professors and academicians, as they have only become safe havens for stooges favored by the ruling parties.

Grooming a chosen set of students capable enough for answering tough questions may be given seperate exams. Filtering at basic level and special classes for them. Two types of exams. One for general another as special. Such a curriculum pattern may be considered at from primary level catering to the i q level of students.
