Agreed the Hym is a fantastic creature for horror encounters.

I wish it had more written about it. I would like to make a video just on it.

Very detailed and interesting, Also cool to hear the "recipes" for the various oils and "remedies":)

Wish there was more actual lore to potion making. But the third game giving recipes is still nice.

Well, yeah...apart from the primal inhuman repulsion of the Witcher's insectoids as well as terror from the old men with long beards who are also giant bats - then there's the "ghosts'" Hym.
I found the wraith, particularly the noonwraith, encounters and lore in The Witcher 3 to be fascinating and memorable.
Here's to looking forward to further specter lore, and more.
Thank you as ever, GrimDark Narrator!

I'll always remember the Noonwraith/Nightwraith quest from the witcher 1.

I definitely get the feeling that the noonwraiths were inspired by folklore. Farmers are known to come up with rather interesting superstitions and folklore.
A wraith that haunts farm fields at high noon is not something I would expect, considering that most incorporeal undead in fantasy are known to only come out at night, or haunt dark places where there is little to no natural light.

My second favorite quest in Witcher 3 is The towerful of mice.

@@GrimDarkNarrator To be fair I do find most of your videos very comprehensible.
My brain is just stuck on how these dudes can be both corporeal and not, why oils effect them, why emotions form them etc.
None of that part of it makes sense to me and might be the fault of the game at hand?
