Hey boss man just thought I’d let you know the Aster v2 has a resizable hole that can be widened for the leg that you removed from the gearbox so you don’t have to die grind the gearbox. I used a Phillips head screwdriver to gently widen the hole for the board to fit the leg you removed.
@@johnnym7904 I ended up putting my aster in a new gearbox and ground it off anyway it makes for a better install but the gate installation video shows installation without grinding out the leg.
The anti reversal lever sits off the left of the gearing the safety lock that sits over the board is not needed since the Aster has a digital safety and the selector lever which I think you were referring to that is under the gears that sat where the board now sits is no longer needed as the Aster has a digital selector
Great video! I am going to do the same with my cyma. Thanks for the help!

Dude great video u make it look so easy haha keep it up buddy
What about the anti backing mechanism or whatever was removed that goes over the circuit board? Just delete it?

Great video can i ask what volt battery you use in it ?
I always use a 11.1 lipo 3000 MAH
I'm thinking about getting an aster, so they fit in the programmable gearboxes?
