Are you brave enough to see The First Omen in theaters?
I’m going to it tomorrow I can’t wait probably gonna rewatch the original omen to prepare
My hero I’ve watched it and it’s fantastic
Hi Tessa The first Omen review, really Loved it 🥰
Love you hugs 🤗 ❤
This is one hell of a calling card (pun intended) for director and co-writer Arkasha Stevenson, who makes her feature debut chronicling the harrowing ordeal that befalls young American novitiate Margaret (Nell Tiger Free) in a Roman orphanage. The film goes all in on its dark storyline and imagery as Margaret forges a connection with the teenage Carlita (Nicole Sorace), a particularly troubled orphan who’s prone to violence, reminding her newfound protector of her own turbulent childhood. As ominous signs and strange behavior swirl around Carlita, Stevenson
When I leave a theater disturbed to the core from a horror movie, job well done!😱👌
There's a part I can't say, but they really made Margaret look like a badass!
Nell Tiger Free will likely appear in much more horror roles after this🌟
One of the scarier films I've seen in some time.

The roommate looks like young Elizabeth Taylor or Scarlett O’Hare gave the movie even more old school vibes. Loved it. Great post!
Does Jerry Goldsmith music appear? thankyou!
It does! Go watch it, you won't be disappointed
Omg I just watched this and I didn’t know it was a prequel
Thanks for the review Tessa ❤
Of course!!
Does the Jerry Goldsmith theme pop up?
Yes in a magnificent way and he’s credited at the end. The score honours the classic.
A really good movie I must say! Better than Immaculate in my opinion
😍😍😍😍😍
Mama's Geeky showing her dark side again
Birthing scene

This looks like the usual, modern horror movie, way over the top stylized imagery and cheap shocks. Im sure it'll have the usua cheapl jump scares.
The original builds and builds, on the palpable bad situation the Gregory Peck character- Robert Thorn was in. As he pieces together the horrific truth about the child he adopted. That movie doesn't rely on blood and gore. No, its clearly very far removed from what made the original movie.I won't be rushing out to see this.
Respectfully, The First Omen does the same thing as the original does in terms of pacing and storytelling and there are very few jumpscares, and certainly no cheap ones. Most of them are done very tastefully. The trailers make it seem that like the movie is the typical jump scare fest that modern movies are known for. I can understand why you would be hesitant. Your choice of course, but as a fan of the original i can promise you it does take its time and slowly gets to its final scene, very artistically. I was also unsure about giving this movie a chance but ultimately I decided to, and I was pleasantly surprised. I say give it a chance, but that's just my humble recommendation.
