I miss the old Chicago
we will never see shows like this ever again!! simplistic is a thing of yesterday!!!
He's still on Me-TV 10-12 Saturday Nights.
It's a different svengoolie
It's the same Svengoolie, Rich Koz is his real name...He just looks older lol
@@MrRockzilla86 AND HE IS A BIT PLUMPER NOW
Chicago TV at its Finest..Love Svengoulie
Watched him back in the day when he was first on Saturday afternoons and then he went to nights. I remember going to the 7 11 to get 3d glasses to watch the creature from the black lagoon in 3D
I remember that, I believe they may have did it a couple of times, but going to 711 for the glasses was funny, because usually the 3D effects in that age were a big bust. 🤷
I completely forgot about that!
Wow…what a great time that was…
Thank you for the reminder
Brilliant! Doug Sharf is one of my favorite musicians and here's one big reason why! I love Rich and Doug's musical parodies. For years I hoped for Doug to release a CD.
One of my neighbors claims that years ago when he was a waiter at a restaurant Berwyn he used to serve Rich Koz (Svengoolie)
Nothing like this today... This was awesome!!!!

BERWYN!??
Holy hell this guy is talented!
Sven times three! Fantastic!
Some may say it was cheesy, although I am certain in it's time this was innovative. Svengoolie (Rich Koz) is a very talented person and did much of the work on skits and artwork. You do not see good schmaltz television this much fun nowadays. I catch Svengoolie on MEtv. The skits aren't this long, though he still inserts his humor hosting horror movies on Super sci-fi Saturdays.
This isn't corny at all. This looks very complicated and his vocals along with the instrumentals are great.
Love Sven and Doug! 💝🤗🎩
1981 according to Sven when he and Doug remade this song later in 1995
Doug is one of my favorite trumpet pickers, always fun to work with.
LOVE IT!!!!!! BUUURWYYYN

Priceless! I love this song as it is, and this takes it in a comical direction!
I think the one in the middle ate the one on the left to become the current Svengoolie.
If you purposely relax your eyes you can achieve five svens
