I had the same swaying issue in mine evertime i would let off the gas sometimes even when i would get on it ended up being rear control arms replaced up control arm and the bushing in the diff that it attaches to aswell as lower control arms no more issues
@@jbp1981 they both hold the same power. Mainly due to clueless people spreading bad info. I'm making 540rwhp through an auto on my stock longblock Vortech Mach.
You can make 550 wheel or more and keep tq at 450ish but it'll take cams, Ford racing manifold, long tubes and a centri. They will live like that gotta watch that tq try not to go much over 450. You can be at 450 horse or 550 depends on the other supporting mods.
That was one of those hand was forced situations. Engine stuck at machine shop and I had 100k wrapped up into a roller. I took matters into my own hands which turned into the 21 GT500 and then in turn helped pay for a sizeable down payment for my house. So I have zero regrets. Everything happens for a reason.
Put it on E85 and don't load it up with a bunch of timing. Stock bottom 3v with a turbo, custom cams, and e85 was making around 620rwhp and running mid 9's. There are some videos on YT. ruclips.net/video/5fpdGLS97SI/видео.htmlsi=0yG4dXbASWdGiF_k
They will live at a higher power level w a turbo vs a blower. A stand alone also helps and like you said e85 with conservative timing I could Def see one living at that power level. There is alot of factors the overall setup matters it's not just a blanket "above xxx power it'll blow" it's not that simple lol

We blew our 3 valve up from 467 ft lbs torque. HP 535
The torque killed it.
I’m curious: what was the failure. If it’s bent or snapped rod I agree. If it was something else then I’d say tune issue

I always wondered why a stock bottom end 3v supposedly holds 550 but a non terminator 4v is 450. Both use the same rods as far as I know.

550 whp is about the limit for stock bottom but imo it's the trq @ 500 ft lbs that's what will grenade it
