Andy Miles played saxophone in jazz, pop, funk and rock bands, played bagpipes and tinwhistle in folk bands, was solo clarinettist at the Hamburg Opera, is solo clarinettist at the WDR, played as a soloist with his symphonic jazz, tango and klezmer programs with orchestras almost everywhere in the world etc etc....
All this explains the unusual colorfulness of his compositions!
