Good Morning Reptile Army! Hope the start of your days are awesome! I was so excited to share this news with you guys! I have been working on this for about 6 weeks! We still have to get the aquariums running, get fish and furnish the place. But we should be good to go by mid November hopefully! Wow. What a cool house!!! I really think the pool should be a recreational pond. They are much easier to maintain and very few people get to swim with fish. So I think that’s a great idea. Congratulations Brian n Lori!
As a fitness weirdo I always find it so rare to have a gym in a air bnb so having that gym is a bonus in my opinion.

Honestly, I think it would send the right message to keep the gym. It would do people some good to maintain a regular workout schedule, even while on vacation! I’ve been doing calisthenics every morning, for over five months, and it feels great. Ironically though, my workout wouldn’t require any of that nice equipment. Haha!
Definitely need a snake in the round terrarium! Since its also tall you could do a boa or something thats not TOO big, but also somewhat arboreal. I know with koi, they get really big and once they're that big, they need a ton of oxygen and filtration to stay healthy and pretty. My mom has some in her back yard that you can pet. They're about 3-4 feet long and about 20 years old. I love koi though and would love to see them. I definitely think the more animals the better cuz anyone coming to see you is guaranteed to be an animal lover.
I agree with turning the gym area into an arcade area, so much fun for the kids as well as adults. The koi pond outside though I would keep! I can swim in a normal swimming pool all the time but I can't swim with koi, keeping the koi in their but allowing the people to swim with them would be amazing!
I don’t know what the taxes are, but in my opinion, the house was a steal! Seven car driveway, big enough for other fun toys too! Hopefully it is close to the Reptarium! I’d leave the outside pool as a koi pond you can take a dip in with the pretty swimmers. Where else can you do that? Although the cold Michigan winters might be an issue…but you can heat it. Good buy I think Brian. Def a good place to house any RUclips pod cast guests and collars too.
This house is incredible!!! Keep the back yard pond as a recreational koi pound! There’s not a lot of hotels out there that allow you to swim with koi. One of a kind experience!!!
Keep the gym as it is and have the games room down stairs with the koi!
The house lay out as it is, is practically a five star hotel without the food.
If you’re considering making this family safe, you should consider a side wall for those stairs to protect young children.

This is an awesome idea . I would definitely stay there versus a hotel . I think the exercise equipment can go and maybe turn the outside koi pond back into a swimming pool . Your ideas are great I would definitely do a jungle theme in that front aquarium and I would leave the pond in the backyard cause like you said it's a recapon you can swim in it and feed the fish , And definitely yes to the arcade , Awesome house congrats look forward to staying there and taking another trip to the repetarium .

You should turn the pond back into a pool but put a glass partition one end creating a smaller tank that you can see into under the water to see the fish or crabs would be cool

You should make it both! Swimming with koi? That would be awesome!
Keep it koi, you already have hot tubs, and your in Michigan, pools never get used as much as you want, and the limited time of year it’d actually be comfortable is only a few months of summer.
I can’t wait for the house to be finished… I think you should maybe try and split the koi pond that is out side into a half koi pond/swimming pool. Then if you split it, you can put like plexiglass into the pool so that way when you go underwater you see the koi.
Wonderful idea 🙂 ! Concerning the underground game room, I'll rather see a huge breathtaking amazonian rainforest pond with huge branches/small trees coming out of the water, hosting plenty of ferns, bromeliads, orchids (with a professional plant lighting above of course), fresh water rays, arowanas, Brazilian cichlids, schools of various tetra species, one or two medium size catfishes etc etc. You'll have enough place to decorate the outside of the pond front wall with a 2 feet elevated soil bench planted with tropical plants, aroids etc etc. The amazonian rainforest in Michigan 😃😉

This is awesome!! Make the down stairs into the game room and the gym cut it in half and add some animals/fish tanks. Some people do like to keep up with there work out routines.
that is the most amazing thing i have ever seen. It is a super upgrade to bringing in followers and also, people who want to be able to witness the amazing experience of animals and reptiles.It is something id love to be able o let my family experience. I hope one day i can.

Wow that place is amazing! Def turn gym to an arcade with like a bar or something and you should turn the pond out the back into a natural rec pond like kenans and have turtles etc in it, and you could do swim with experiences like snakes monitors etc.

if there is room put a small gym (maybe a tread mill and stepper) and the rest add games. A little of both. Downstairs at the pond use that for a area for game days to watch sports or movies and have a little bar down there with it and maybe some kind of popcorn machine. The rainforest idea in the round tank sound great, with colorful plants and reptiles.
I just can't get enough of your videos, I wasn't even a snake person really until I came across your channel and to be honest, still haven't got any but getting one soon but watching and learning so much on the do's and don'ts of it all and when it comes to any reptiles I have or any I will get in the future my Motto is and will be WWBBD when in doubt/unsure....and I also love fish and can't wait to see everything you do with that next

The house is amazing. I think you should turn the workout room into a arcade room. As for the koi pond I think you should keep it that way to have people enjoy the fish while grilling or just hanging out.

Idk I think with familys coming ur better off with a pool for the kids and it not being a pond just helps and I can think of ten different bad things that cud happen if its a pond I'm stoked I saw this video and thought it was an older video and then saw that it was just posted there will be a birthday weekend of mine spent there
I would personally enjoy having a gym. I think the downstairs area near the pool tables would be a great area for arcade games!
That is such a crazy house! When you're as familiar with construction as you are, it's apparent how incredible the design really is. I would keep some of the gym, but agree the space would be better used as a gameroom or something.
If you're going to rent out the house, there's no point removing the Koi fish. You have the hot tub, so they don't need a pool also. The pool would only be used for a couple months but the fish can be enjoyed year round.

Vip experience , salt and pepper in the massive pond , swim with a snake , RJ in a pond . Each time you showed a water feature, first thought was big snakes and or gator experience 🤩
The house is amazing think you should keep the Koi and Gold fish ponds be nice for people and kids to feed them when they stay, and think its a great idea having a Arcade room so people can chill and have fun.

Wow! The house is amazing!! Some quick thoughts I'm having is to take out the gym like you said and put some games in but also some pinball games would be cool too. Now for my favorite idea, if it can be done is split the pool so there so there would be a pool. But using a clear separator keep the koi in the other side so it would be like swimming with them! You'd be able to go under water and watch them from that perspective also! Just a few ideas for you. Take care and have a great day!!

It's amazing! Hopefully, some day, can come and visit. If you have any ideas for paintings or murals for any of the new spaces, I would love to come up and paint them for you! An arcade sounds awesome, but I would leave a few of the gym things. People who regularly work out, don't like missing a day and it actually does appeal to people to have a gym.

Great idea with the house. I say keep the gym there's so much more room in the house to put games in other places. Also since you're going to have the koi pond in the basement make the outside a pool.
Absolutely amazing place. You always thinking outside the box. I do have to say I like the turning it back into a pool. Like the workout room being a video game room is a better idea for vacation spot. Also having the one tank turned into reptiles instead of dishes is a great idea. I get cleaning and feeding is a possible challenge but it it doable.

The glass room could be a mini reptarium! You already have plenty of glass for viewing! Most people would be coming to see animals anyway. Cool house!

This Aquarium House is brilliant! The house is a beautiful piece of art. Tell your friend his design and style is off the chart. Looking so forward to watching the completion of this home. Definitely place some lovely lizards in the round house. Maybe keep some of the workout equipment/arcade or move some of it downstairs. There are some who have a daily routine and never change even on vacation. Not sure on the swimming pool as we get such a short period of time to enjoy. If you enclosed and heated that would be all year. I've been trying to get my son to bring me up for two years maybe after I show him the house we will be able to come. I'll make it somehow as it's a wish of mine. THANK YOU! for your wonderful inspiration, VLOGS, thank you Lori, amazing animals, fun, and the boys and girl in the house who keep us in stitches.
I think you should put some enclosures in the glass room and then make the down stairs area with the koi pond in it into the game room area. You could up grade the tvs above the pond into something bigger and put different consoles on each one. With some chairs or a couch or 2 set up. I think that would be pretty cool.
Hi Brian I would take out the work out space, and have other options for that area. I would also remove the large fish, and make it a swimming pool. The

Keep the koi and allow people to swim. That is an experience in itself.
Definitely feeding it with a Koi. More natural and relaxing. You could try and get some informational about the Koi & other Fish for that.

I'm a sucker for video games, arcade or otherwise, so some retro arcade games would be dope. Maybe just a smaller gym too lol. Also, you gotta have a naturalist pool/pond for swimming! You're the Reptarium, gotta incorporate as much nature as possible right? Nature meets modernism.
If you're going to rent to families would be cool to add pool alarm to the koi ponds
You should build a bar in the fun cave along the koi pond! So people can bring there own drinks and have fun in a safe environment! Love the new house. Happy for this new chapter.

For the cylinder tank. Do a paludarium with archer fish. Guests can feed crickets and watch them shoot them into the water

I think you should keep the gym upstairs. Lots of ppl like to work out even on vacations,crazy I'd be in the hot tub,lol. Put the arcade games downstairs, you already got the pool tables down there. I love arcade games😁. I'd keep the koi pond outside, that would be a really cool experience, swimming with them. And from the sound of it you have enough to take from there and put downstairs. Awesome house!

I would do some reptile enclosures and/or kids play area in the space for work out. And play room downstairs. No need to have 2 of those. Same with outside - You have one koi space in the basement. Change the outside space into pool

Fun idea. I'd suggest a property manager (on site?) that can be there daily to supervise the feedings, and maybe manage ambassador animals handling as a perk of the rental. I'd make it mandatory (for the animals' welfare) but schedulable, so people have some flexibility. It'd also make an excellent event/retreat rental.

Yeah, just think about how awesome he himself thinks it is to swim with the fish in Ohio Fish Rescue's big pool. To be able to offer the opportunity to swim with the koi, not just look at, and feed them, just adds awesomeness.

The price tag on this place will be ridiculous so a couple years to save up is likely not an exaggeration for most people, unless you can coordinate with a large group.

I would leave the gym and just put the machines downstairs with the pool table. An airbnb with a gym is a plus. Also a pool would make it perfect

Arcade or a mini reptile zoo. The cylinder tank would make a great arboreal snake or lizard enclosure (Leachy Gecko), but it may be hard to work in with the small door.
That would be great for us next year, we're planning to surprise my neice with a trip to the reptarium for her Birthday! She would flip out!
