I sure enjoy watching a knife being made without the ribbon fan forced gas forge, hydraulic hammers and 2" power grinders....it is the touch of the knife that gives it the character to be called "handmade." Thanks for the video...always appreciate them.
Thank you Bruce. I enjoy the old way of doing it. It’s my little connection to the past. It’s almost like I have a window to the past that I can actually reach through and touch history. That probably didn’t make a bit of sense but anyway thank you for watching!
..yep, we got that cool, wet, windy then hot, windy, wet and it starts over again over here n East Ala. also. i like how you forge to finish. It gives a better look. Well done sir...!
I appreciate you sharing your style of forging, I have found your style to be useful in honing my technique with small blades. Always enjoying watching your videos.
I am going to start forging a drop point for a friend's husband for the upcoming Christmas season, but after seeing this video, I think I am going a curved hunter like the one you made here. I think it will be more practical for skinning and breaking down deer and moose. They are hunters.
Never get tired of watching your video’s. Do you still-wrap your blades with vinegar. I really like the look it gives the knife. Thanks for helping me learn how to do this for hobby
Awesome - that boy is going to have a happy birthday. Thank you for putting these videos out - I learn something every time I watch.
