10:11 You can try and feed the line onto your reel from a spool laying flat on the floor. If the line twists after a few cranks it is laying on the wrong side. Strip the line and strart over after flipping the spool over. Ultra thin stainless steel eyes on that pole? They scrap the line under extreem arc(pressure). Scrapping one side making it curl and twist adding to the set memory of the way the rig was spooled.
16 oz propane tank with stand and single burner propane stove. Perfect for blind hunting, keep it between your legs and never be cold again. Deer never smell or seem skittish. Give it a try LFG!!
Add a barrel swivel on your line about 15 or so inches above your spinner, that's what we do up in Erie Steelhead fishing. Inline spinners and Spoons are notorious for twisting your line and causing wind knots.
As always another fine video from LFG!!!! I look forward to each and everyone of them. I love how as time has gone on you are showing us the good, the bad, and sometime kinda gross/ugly... I love that!!!!!
Just my personal experience, when fishing inline spinners, between your leader and your main line attach a barrel swivel. When fishing the spinners, the line twists causing those knots to form when casting. Will likely help prevent those casting knots.
If you're getting a lot of wind knots there are a couple things you can do to help. One take some line off of the spool a full spool will spring a lot more than a 3/4 full spool. Secondly, be cognoscente of keeping tension on your line when you drop your rod tip. If you aren't picking up line when you drop the tip you can get a loop at the spool when you turn the handle, and that will start the wind knot. Back reeling will help you get the wind knot our faster. Hope that helps.
Fun stuff brother. Thanks for sharing. Don't need gourmet. Foil cooked trout is the ultimate way to enjoy them. I've had little brook trout in a deep canyon in Colorado after we had an elk down. A little salt and pepper for what we caught with a willow pole. Best trout I ever ate! 😉 God bless all here.
yes pleaaaase, announce it very loudly as soon as that rod will be available. I desperately need one, or maybe two... thank you for amazing video. God bless you and your family.
That’s amazing lfg imma trout fisherman and whitetail hunter in Pennsylvania and I love to hunt and fish the way you cook your trout is the best way unless you fillet them
I understand your brand loyalty but........😂😂 suffix castable fluorocarbon in 4 lb test is about the best line for light gear and small spinning reel set ups. While i love braid on my crappie set ups for vertical jigging. I find when I'm making long retrieves with an inline spinner the braid spins up. Even when you have a swivel to leader set up. So the next cast you make explodes off the real under tension. Just a few things to try on your next trout fishing outing.
If I use semi light braided line with any spinning lure such as spoons I used to get very bad wind knots too. Swivels helped a little bit still ended up with knots
Thanks to you I always have some SPG on hand. I found it to be a great all purpose seasoning. I also got sticker shock when I was looking a new waders too. It's an investment for sure.
hey bro, you're messing around a lot, use a tripod. prevent stim coiling of the cord. We use it in Slovakia and have no problem with it. PS I don't know if Google will translate it well
Pull it out pass the wind knot and retie. Cut just under you leader to braid knot. Tie the leader back onto your main uni-uni and bam! LoL from a guy who’s been tangled a lot. I usually get them “wind knots” when the spool is too packed or the line is too thicc. 8lb to 6lb is what I use to trout. Straight fluoro when I can afford it.
An old school tip I learned from my dad, wear pantyhose as your base layer, rather it be when you are wearing waders or just hunting or working in the cold. Put them on as a base layer and dress over them, now laugh as you may but I am serious, it works and they are relatively cheap
I grew up catching trout from small mountain creeks that size and bigger, off of the cheapest crap you’ve ever fished with.. I love trout fishing, but with a $300 combo catching 12 inchers..😂😂😂 Yes, if I’m still 10
When using spinners, try putting a swivel between your braid and your leader. This will reduce line twist.

Beautiful trip. Glad y'all got to enjoy it boys

I do this 3 times a week, love eating trout and i'm lucky to have a river that runs on my property.
Dig it LFG! Would love to see more fly fishing/ trout and salmon catch n cooks from the Googans
I’m not a googan but I have quite a bit of salmon and trout vids on my channel and a lot to come as I moved to Alaska this past July
@@NewDivideOutdoors I subbed...looks cool!

Blue River is absolutely gorgeous I hope you’ve had a great time and still are!!
7 foot light two piece Bro the perfect travel pole!
One year I hope to run into you there, it's one of my favorite spots. The smallmouth fishing is great there in the spring and summer.
Just my personal experience, when fishing inline spinners, between your leader and your main line attach a barrel swivel. When fishing the spinners, the line twists causing those knots to form when casting. Will likely help prevent those casting knots.
I don’t even use a leader, just put a snap swivel on the main line hooked straight to the spinner. Works great and easy to switch lures
I love late fall early winter fishing, once the ice starts forming on my eyelets that’s when I know to quit
Love the trout videos.
You need to do some deer hunting in that area, amazing public land that’s bow only!!!
I really have grown to love watching this trip ever year man keep it up
You need a barrel swivel to keep your line from twisting when using spinners.
gotta love ole blue river i swear Im gonna meet you up there one of these days lmao !!!!
I’m surprised y’all haven’t came out with googan waders.
I’m scared to break my 7’2 rod because it’s the only one I brought as I beat my truck accidentally with it 😂 love ya buddy!
We need to take you on a proper overlanding and fishing trip HIGH in the mountains. Sounds like one hell of a video series!
Love watching. Can't wait for the pole, I love Bluegills, and looking for a new pole, so get ur dun,
Just got back from the blue river thia morning caught a limit and headed back with some buddies tomorrow
Love the Blue.
Rackley keepin it real! one of the best youtubers on youtube!
LFG! Just realized you past the 1m subscribers. Congratulations!
Making me want to go trout fishing. Thanks for the idea!🤙🏻
It's just nice to see you fishing for something other than larry, LFG.
Hey just a heads up I was just down where you are this past weekend and super duper s were working really well like almost every cast
You should try Thomas cyclone s514 blue and nickel! I've been the only guy at the pond catching rainbows while no one else is even getting a bite

i would add that lure weight helps a lot. if hes throwing like a 1/16 or 1/8 ounce on a light action it may just not be heavy enough.

Perfect brother I LOVE caveman style that’s the only way to live 🔥🔥🔥
Great video loved the case hobo add definitely going to get one.

Love everything LFG.
I’m sure someone already posted this but braid is notorious for line twist. You definitely need to use a snap swivel attached to the spinner
Can't beat the BR around us! Awesome to see you doing the same things I do, at the same places.
Headed up there myself in just over a week! Glad to see the fishing is good
I haven’t been there in a couple years. I want to head down this year and go catch some good trout. Looks like an amazing time.
Absolutely love your vids! Keep up the great work!

Awesome catch and cook Brotha ✊🏼🧐!! Nothing better than Fresh Trout, my 2pennys! Cheers Sir Rackely 👊🏼😎🤙🏼🍻
Googan's need to get into Bait Finess System (BFS) rods and reels. It is amazing for trout.
Must be up at broken bow or Arkansas somewhere
Love the frogg togg hellbender waders, have a pair myself!
I think the skin on trout is the best part. It is the only fish I eat the skin. Although I would with panfish, but its way faster to fillet them
You should do a video with the addicted fishing guys and get some salmon and steelhead in in the Pacific North West my dude 👌
Or come hang with me we all pretty much live in the same area
You keep it right Brother. Thumbs.. PEACE
That liver will work back in Texas For flathead bait or alligator gar bait they can have it
Love the vids
Does googan make a 4-5ft rod? That's a very popular rod in my area for panfish and trout
The heart is the best
Do you have a frozen swivel on that spoon?
Great video
Thanks to you I always have some SPG on hand. I found it to be a great all purpose seasoning. I also got sticker shock when I was looking a new waders too. It's an investment for sure.
I always keep some zap paks in the glovebox
Dam i am down there right now
LFG what brand and model are those waders and boots?
Tie on a Rapala SSR size 5 for bigger trout!
I don’t think I’ve ever left a like but I had to do it for the just a lil pants wipe and she’s going back in 😅
Googan waders coming soon?? Maybe
What are some good waders that won't break the bank??
He reminds of Craig, y'all two cracking joke's the whole time just like you and Craig do.
hey bro, you're messing around a lot, use a tripod.
prevent stim coiling of the cord. We use it in Slovakia and have no problem with it. PS I don't know if Google will translate it well
when are you all going to get more rods in stock on the googan web site

Man…lfg don’t have to retie, watch when he breaks his line and pull the knot out it just goes back together like nothing happened
@@justwatchin6438 LOL seen that legit he snapped it and made me wonder well who's line did he snap?
Yea i don’t understand… he needs to make a short clip of that and post it because that was crazy
When are these ultra light and light rods coming out? Also are you guys planning on doing more two pieces in the gold series?
I have watched these trout videos every time and I am curious about one thing. When you clean them do you scale them or leave the scales on?
They don’t have scales like a blue gill of crappie they are soft no need to scale
Looks like Blue River
Good working
Bs Lge rho or sabar kro🎉🎉
Dekhna Ek din Sflta jrur milegi
What kind of front pack is that?
Deer Liver is 🔥.
You'll know not to eat one if it's Olive green K!
Throw some Butter and Onions 👍.
Stay Warm Bro 👊.
JO JO IN VT 💕😅💨❄️
Sir Rackley 2022 *2:34 “Im ready to kick a Trout in the FACE Now” 🤣👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👌
Too bad you didn’t take me up on my offer to put you on some trophy size trout instead of the snack size lol love the vids!
"...a gusher in the crotch...in a way that you don't want...' 😂😂
What river are u fishing on.
get some windtamer braid - no wind knots ever.
An old school tip I learned from my dad, wear pantyhose as your base layer, rather it be when you are wearing waders or just hunting or working in the cold. Put them on as a base layer and dress over them, now laugh as you may but I am serious, it works and they are relatively cheap
Lol he says I'm afraid to break this rod because it's my only one and then proceeds to rub it against the truck
Why would you want high visibility line for fishing?
Is that river here in tx?
How was the liver boys. Probably better than pig or beef. I don’t eat any liver no matter what kind. Enjoyed it brother
Wait… how did the line get put back together?! 😮
Guess that rod has a tough tip seeing you fold it around your cargo rack like that
Lol brown water... I could hook you up with some fire water. Or as my hunting buddies call it, spicy water.
Double up those knit gloves so the wind cant go thru
You know why your braid was twisting up. Your spinner was rolling in the moving water as you cast 90 degrees to the current.
❤️
I grew up catching trout from small mountain creeks that size and bigger, off of the cheapest crap you’ve ever fished with.. I love trout fishing, but with a $300 combo catching 12 inchers..😂😂😂 Yes, if I’m still 10
Where is this river at?
Love his catch and cooks
A small swivel is a must when throwing inline spinners LFG. Thought you would have known better
I think you mean a snap swivel.
I would never use one for this
@@tatertots-n-soup I use a small swivel about 2feet up the line and that is where I transition from braid to fluorocarbon
Or just throw 4lb test mono as a main line and leader. Makes catching those small trout a lot more entertaining and allows the spinner to run deeper.
@@M.Bassin for trout? Thats what I use for 20-35lb catfish and 90lb sturgeon.
@@NewDivideOutdoors can you tell me why you line your creel basket with long grass blades so you can layer grass between the fish in the basket?
You know you can use your silk(real silk) liner to straighten line?
I know you know you can use leather already
Wassssup
Love from wv lfg
I hate bones too. Once i feel a bone in my mouth its over with.
Bro what happen to the vid long time ago the fish took your Stella in the water?
