What a pack, auto and Golden Mirror! I got a Max Scherzer Golden Mirror out of a retail display box, made we want to try a couple more of those. I'm staying away from Bowman, I have a few prospect cards to complete my set, ain't worth hunting for them.

Great pulls and video. I am hoping to go see Caminero and Curtis Mead since they are playing for the Bulls right now. I know that Caminero was on the IL, but I haven't checked it lately. I would like to get an auto from the two of them.

Are base rookies even worth saving? I'm a newbie to the hobby. I haven't collected since the 90s junk wax era
I personally keep all base rookies, but that question would get a different answer from all collectors

It’s funny because I took like month break from bowman and picked up 6 blasters recently and got some of my best pulls even compared to the first 20 blasters I ripped

@@westernnycards haha trust me my first 20 blasters destroyed me. And even those recent hits I mentioned weren’t necessarily bangers . Just a few 20-30 dollar cards . I Wouldn’t say I made my money back on those last 6 blasters haha
Wow auto and golden mirror!! very nice. I ripped 8 fanatic blasters and not really a whole lot to show. Ive got 8 more to go. it seems ive had better luck with hangers ( an auto and 2 golden mirrors)

I picked a series 1 of topps 2024 and I got it for $24 at my local savealot and the best thing I got was a home run challenge of Nolan Arenado, which I’m a cardinals fan so I gonna pick a game that I’m going to

After pulling the Frank Thomas auto bat redemption fantastic hasn't been as good to me 😂. But I've pulled 2 golden mirrors and a true photo variation out of hangers.
Hangers seem to be so consistent

Man I am an M's fan and just got the bad news about Johnny Farmelo yesterday. He is shutdown for the year with a torn ACL. Unfortunate, he was having a GREAT first season. Wish him all the best in a successful speedy recovery.

Funny story, I’ve been going through blasters, hobby’s, hangers, fat packs, etc… Hoping to have a nice pull like in your videos. I pulled some numbered cards and some nice base rookies but nothing epic. So my wife asks to open two packs yesterday out of my hobby. Both packs, she pulls not one but two relics! An marlins ichiro worn jersey and a Freddie Freeman rounding the bases relic. The baseball gods hate me! Lol

I have had better luck on the blasters from my local Walmart that from fanatics exclusive just pulled my first ever Golden Mirror from a Walmart blaster it was a Rockies team card I will take it!

That scene in Casino, when Joe Pesci keeps throwing cards back into the blackjack dealer's face and telling him to hit him again until he gets a card he likes. That's my personal stance on anything Bowman.

At the price point I'll open series 2 fanatics blasters all day over bowman. Just so much more potential in series 2

@greghood659 as someone who isn't going to sit one autos for years hoping one person pans out, there is more potential for me in series 2. Yamamoto autos, and players I can watch currently. Prospect speculation isn't for me.

Nice rip. I got the First Pitch of Mike Towers. Idk who that is lol. Topps needs to quit with stars of MLB. They made em worthless and uncollectable. In my opinion. Way to many
I wouldn’t say I’m a fan of them at all but they def hold value if you hold them and complete the full 90 card sets from series 1, series 2 and update. I sold a ton of those last year
