I've got a 1977 z28 that had an early 1990's 350 SBC V8 swapped in. It was bored to be a 383 stroker motor. I bought the fuel injection gas tank, so I just need the Sniper EFI, the HyperSpark kit, and the block off plate for the mechanical fuel pump and I should be good to go, right? Thanks Stacey.

They get you with those extra parts for a EFI system that will crap the bed. The sniper2 supposedly takes care of the issues the 1 has but its too soon to tell and not completely sure that this system will work with the 2 without buying more extra parts.

That's why port injection is better in this situation

I've been almost-daily driving a Sniper 2 on a Chevelle for over a year now (September 2023) with zero problems. It just bolted on and fired first time with that incredibly easy plastic distributor alignment tool. I was using a separate CD box, but switching to the smaller Hyperspace box over winter. I already had a Sniper fuel tank with an Aeromotive regulator which just changes springs to go from carb pressure to EFI pressure, since the tank adds a couple gallons of capacity but looks stock.
I've had an HP TBI unit on my truck for over a decade, and this Sniper2 was dead easy to tune. The wizard got it darn near dead nuts first try. Just a mild 350 (subtle cam, dual plane, etc), but it's awesome.
The plugs are all the same as the other Holley unit, except the CAN bus is a new smaller round plug. So things like the digital dashes are different. The ignition all crosses over, and the GPIOs are minimal but enough to hook up to their external auto transmission controller.
It's a pretty cool system. If you don't need a lot of control over external stuff (only 2 outputs and minimal custom control for them) like on a regular street vehicle, I'd definitely recommend it for the price. The dominator and MPEFI on my truck is way more powerful, but just the ECU cost more than the whole Sniper2 conversion. 😂

Tbi isn't the best way to convert to EFI you'll end up going back to a carb port injection is the way to go

TBI worked nearly flawlessly for 10yrs not as efficient as port injection but lightyears ahead of carburetors. Can still make decent power same numbers as a carb. TBI is cheap you can typically retain same manifold and only minor fuel system upgrades.

@mesanders1113 the problem is it doesn't perform for shit and that what it's all about with these aftermarket EFI systems performance and they severely lack that
