Brilliant build of one of my favourite aircraft. Loved all of the detailing you added, made the Anson look very realistic, enjoyed watching this very much. 👍
Another great build Sully, really like your work arounds for sorting the kit issues and the overall paint, detail and weathering is fantastic. Really looking forward to see your work in 2025😁👍
@@KitchenTableModeller thanks dude! Its probably the lest wreathed thing i have done lol but like i said its not a front line fighter but i had to do something lol I got 2 good builds on the go at the moment and hopefully one big (expensive) project for next year just need to figure id it will work though
these newer kits are really more like true miniature builds , the fact that there is a lot of hidden detail is great , big scale lysander sounds interestin
Great looking build, Sully! I've got this one in the stash and it's good to see yours built up. Wonderful details, and the aftermarket Lewis guns are worth it, imho.
19:05 my thoughts, I don’t want the kit to build itself but when Airfix new tool something (like this) it really shouldn’t have fit issues. Yes, we can resolve the issues as you have, but I think they aren’t charging small amounts for these kits and they really should just fit. The model builds into a lovely finished article and you have done a great job with it.
Good afternoon Sully, well I will tell you what I think of this build judt liked you asked, you have done an absolutely outstanding job in the Anson, I would like this one in my stash but here in Australia it is just over the $100 mark, I wish you and your family a Very Merry Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year, best regsrds from a Kiwi living in Australia, Les
@@soldierboybbq In a way, I suppose yes. I use what was left over from some plasticky stacking shelves and i have fixed a ring light in the top. The backing is a photography backing and i have a pocket panel light if i need more directional light
Awesome build Sully! Merry Christmas to you and Mrs Sully :) Interesting the tyres have DUNLOP on them. Airfix must have paid for the licencing. With rubber in short supply I didn't think wartime aircraft bothered with things like company logos and treads. WRT reflectors for lights.. have you tried small pieces of kitchen foil, or are they a pain in the wotsits to glue in place? Have you considered a cutaway style with only half the fuselage and/or the engine cowling(s) off so people can see all the fabulous detail you do that gets hidden?
@@julianmhall ye they did put manufacture on tyres, later on treads did come in but was abit later on. The tyres for this kit were the eduard ones not the Airfix ones. I have thought about the cut away idea, i really want to do either the eduard b17 or the HK in 32nd and do it kn that see how things go next year might get it done
A lovely build of an iconic type. My only disappointment is that the dirty cutting mat is a bit distracting. We've all got them but, for me, they detract from the presentation of the video.

Absolutely gorgeous build
Loverly build as always, I enjoyed building this kit
@@ModelkitStuff thanks dude was a very enjoyable build
Awesome result Sully as usual......if they did it in 1/72 with an option for the Irish Air Corps on the decal sheet i would be all over it.

@@kenhanson1819 thanks! I think out of all the after market the engines where a wast of time unless you have the cowls off

It wouldn't be a Sully build without breaking clear parts 😂😂😂
Finished product looks amazing
Outstanding mate. Great build of the kit. Cheers
Simply superb shipmate. Well done.
Pretty fantastic. You make it look easy. I know from years of it, it's certainly not. Happy Holidays.🎄

Awesome fella I love your stuff brilliant 👍
I think maybe we’ve come to expect too much from certain kits like you say basic modelling skills
Looks absolutely amazing. Are you using a bought light box for your shots at the end ?
