I moved to Ireland 20 years ago and started to listen to Sinnead constantly. She introduced me to that melancholic Irish darkness and helped me to fall in love with this country. When my mom died I used to listen to this song non stop 😢
this is what i like to see right now, even though the grief is really immeasurable. Sinéad was our outspoken rebel from Dublin when Ireland was still at it's near most conservative, her voice and activism was a rallying call against interference from the Catholic church to an extent Italy or Spain never saw. the women suffered particularly, Sinéad herself found herself in a Magdalene laundry for the best part of 2 years. the Irish state has failed these women, and all the abused. O'Connor risked a lot to take a stand against injustice.
Can't think of two more powerful singers to pay this beautiful tribute to Sinead. Hope she's reunited with her son, singing with Bob Marley in heaven. ❤️
It’s the best tribute ever, I was absolutely sure Pink would pay tribute at her concert… you are so lucky be a witness 🩷 all three of them are amazing singers
I remember when this song first came out. It was the kind of music video that would make you stop in your tracks. But then came the debate of whether her tears were real or not. Boys, for the most part, said fake, but I still say yes. Whatever was going across her mind was hurting her heart.
Oh,how I wish the world had been kinder to precious Sinead! And as far as her tearing up that picture? Unless you’re a little girl that’s been sexually molested(Joe Pesci, who said he wanted to slap her in the face after she did it)you can never understand where that anger comes from! I hope she’s @ peace now, with her beloved son! I’ll miss her beauty, her voice, but most of all….her courage!
GOOSE BUMPS ! This world can be cruel. May her soul finally rest in Peace.

Am I the only one who can't stop crying? Sinead O'Connor was one of a kind. Beautiful tribute
Also... thank you to Prince, for gifting the world with this song. Sad that they're both gone now.
