Nice. I’m looking at a 180SL. I had a GM1000 w/a 14 blade 🤦🏽♂️ and I’m running a Stirling 51 but I feel it’s too light and because of that I’m getting variances in the HOC. My lawn is small otherwise I would go with a 220.
@@BermudaBoss I think you’re right. It’s finally raining south of Houston and the turf is exploding. I do have the verticutter attachment. Might have to sling it out.
The catcher, boy they are expensive. I bought my toro 1600 and it didn’t have it. I though no big deal..... ya big deal. Couldn’t find used so I had to buy at the dealer. Over $300 😬
If you look closely you can almost see my property line 😜
Excellent walk through, learned a lot. Never have owned a reel mower. One day I might try one, because I love the look.
Thanks! It's an addiction if you really get into it, I have owned many mowers, it's hard to beat a reel mowed lawn
Thanks for the great content!
What would pre emergent do for me in the north applying in the fall?
Good question and I wish I knew more about cool season turf lol hope you're having a great Saturday man!!
Only purpose would be for poa annua control, usually a September application
Great tips Boss. That's one nice machine. Lawn and landscape looking great. 👍💚🦸
Thanks so much brother! I can say at this point I'm ready for fall and cooler temps. Your new lawn is smoking I know you're glad to have it back!!
Thanks for making the vid!
Hope it helped! If you have any questions maybe I can help just lmk 🙌
Sick video brotha. Definitely looking at a Deere in the future. Glad I found you on the Tubes. Lawn looking great as always.
Thanks brother! I love your putting green 😍 so awesome
Great video as always. You are right, transport wheels are crazy expensive. I spent $280 for my toro wheels
Thanks brother! I think most people don't even think about the catcher or transport wheels and then they go to purchase after that fact and scream 😱
Can I do pre-emergent on zeon zoysia if I have plugs and want them to spread?
Yes

It could be your turf is too thick. A lot of folks will verticut or scalp to reset. Any of the mowers can float regardless of weight.

@@Alejandro_C62 definitely! You prob don't need a new mower either unless you just want one lol, can never have too many 🤣

I've learned if it's green or red it's expensive haha! Seriously though a basket/catcher and wheels can make a big difference in price.
Can you please do a video on how to set groomer height?
On a john deere or toro?
@@BermudaBoss on a deere sir
@@reelhoss3715 my deere is getting a grind right now and I prob won't have it back for q couple weeks they said but maybe after that!
@@BermudaBoss I’ll take that. Thank you sir
Please add a link or describe in reply the pre-emergent you use.
Specticle Flo is the liquid version and specticle G is the granular version. Expensive but works extremely well.
What height do you cut your lawn? See you on IG
Thanks I've been at .50 all summer but just raised this side lawn up to .75 since I sanded it 🙌
☀️Great video! I was looking at using Specticle FLO this Fall for my split app: Sept/Dec - glad to hear you had good success with it.
Thanks Sunny, I can honestly say specticle is the best pre I've ever used, you will be happy I'm sure, def give it a try
I plan on using it as well when we build our next house
@@lonestarreellow8734 it's legit 100%
Solid info man! Looks great!
