    シューベルトを真に再現していると思わせる演奏。アンドラーシュ・シフは何を弾いても素晴しい旋律を奏でてくれるピアニストですね😊

That's beautiful. How sentiment Schubert is! What a pathos... Do you really feel happy?

Hi! I have a question regarding a passage in the second movement. Its first occurrence is from 14:10 to 14:18. Both Schiff and Brendel play this added passage, actually through your upload I discovered Schiff just now. Anyway, I would like to know in which editions does this passage of music exist? Because in the scores I was able to access, and most recordings, I have never heard this passage before. Thank you!

The thing is that 4-or-so measures of the first Variation are missing in the first addition and Many subsequent editions of this sonata. Paul Badura Skoda discovered that this Variation is 4 measures too short and now many perfomers tend to add 4 measures for Musical cohesiveness, if that makes sense. But i dont know if there‘s an Edition that adds these measures because the First source (1st Edition) doesnt include them and because the autograph is lost, we don‘t know what exaxtly Schubert wanted, so they leave the task to the Performer to decide if - and what - to add

I have never heard this passage (the theme of the variations) not played.
