Me too! I went from a cute little iPhone 7 rose gold to a 12 pro max. My graduation gift from me to me. I’m very proud of my purchase but don’t what to do with it. Congrats on your phone! Such an upgrade is a big deal.
First iPhone. First iPhone set up. First experience. I learned so much watching this video. I was switching things around and improving my iPhone set up just minutes into the video. Most of all I leaned what I missing and why I should go back and change my preferences. I didn’t even understand what I didn’t understand until watching this video. Sorry, coming from an Android I needed this. This phone is so much better. I was so lost but now I’m finally comfortable using my new iPhone 12 Max Pro. I’m loving it. Thanks for everything.

Thanks for the video. I am getting the gold I12 pro max. I never owned an IPhone before, so this video is very helpful. My 9yr old has an iPhone 7 and I get confused everytime I try to operate that thing. I always buy Samsung but after getting my child the iPhone 7 as a 1st phone I see that iPhone has some pretty neat family share features. When it comes to knowing where your kid is and being able to do a host of things iPhone to iPhone is a benefit
True unlike some android phones they don't have the setup at the beginning iphone is more of a phone you create and all android phones are just fun to have but I think iphone is better
As far as i'm concerned, there are ONLY two reasons to have an iphone - sandboxing makes them more secure, and there are many out of the box iphone to iphone features that would require additional programs on an android to achieve. I HATE how apple thinks it knows best and severely limits customization options. Still hate iphone and begrudgingly use them because my boss and friends have them, and the ease of things from iphone is important to me.
I just ordered the 12 Pro Max, coming from Samsung Note 10 plus - love this phone, but wanted to try something different - first time iPhone user. This phone is a little smaller than the Note10+ so no problem with the size. Really needed this video to view before my phone arrives.
I just made the big switch from Samsung phones over 10years. I bought my 1st iPhone12 this year and I was nervous making the switch but I am now can say I am glad I made the switch

Same, mine comes in 1-2 weeks. I just decided to switch and went straight for their flagship phone, pretty nervous about the 12Max size, going from a 5.8" to a 6.7". Definitely gonna take some time getting used to it.

Great video-my suggestion doesn’t have to do with all the ads; rather I found that the zoom in and out didn’t need to be as aggressive as it was, and so repeatedly. Maybe a mid-ground? Thanks for all the help though.
I truly appreciate this video and these kinds of videos. I appreciate the time that you put into this. My only critique would be is that if you do these often, maybe not do the in and out so much. Your camera is very good and picks up the subject matter very well. And all of the in and out movement is a little distracting.
Thank you, brilliant. Who knew I can actually use the “notes” easily & usefully? Would you always recommend keeping your phone mostly secret. I’m always a little scared of using the app, I actually have a notebook with all my passwords in. (I should say that I’m ill & rarely go out, but I’m hoping to change that, but I know it’s not ideal.
Great Video... I've been an Android user since day one. I am thinking about switching to Apple. I have a Note 10Plus and i dont like the Note 20 Plus. i also use a OnePlus 7Pro. Should i switch now to an Iphone 12 pro max or should i wait till the 13 Pro Max?
Hi, I am a UK viewer and waiting for my iPhone 12 Pro Max. Your video has been very helpful (only got as far as Chapter 3 so far). I agree with the comment about continuous movement of the iPhone. Better to have it placed at an appropriate distance, which would meet all your description requirements. Also, I suspect that some of the features you mention will be specific to the USA, and will not have a UK variant? Many thanks
Great video teaching! Been using iPhones for years but haven’t kept up with the new advances. Learned so much from this. Just upgraded to the 12 from the old SE.
Thanks for this video - in watching this I realised that selecting the 'Zoomed' display option can break elements of the user interface. For example, the message 'send options' - I was unable to select 'Screen' as the Zoom setting had rendered the touch point for this as un-clickable. I also noticed similar issues in other apps (such as RUclips) where functions such as selecting search option were also un-clickable. A bit of an oversight from Apple on this one!
Thanks for the details of how to use it! However, watching it makes me dizzy and shake my head... you constantly moving the focus, the phone, the hand gesture, etc, etc. Hmm... is there a way you can "steadily" present or zoom in/out gracefully? Just a thought. Great content, though. Thanks.
I thought this was very helpful. He mentioned "Iphone 10" several times, when this was about iphone 12. There are also times when he moved too fast for those of us not as familiar with the phone. I just went back and replayed and paused it.
Thanks for this video. You say that using the start button and the up volume buttons for 2 separate features (1:47:39) to both take a photo and to get a menu to turn the phone off. Taking a photo works but which combination of buttons give the menu to turn the phone off?
He mentions it within the first few minutes. At 5:16, he says the power button and the volume up button turns the phone off. And power button and volume down button takes the screenshot
Good video, but who has time to watch it for almost two hours ? Consider indexing in the text header by topics and times for those of us looking for specific things. Thank you.
Hello, I recently purchased the phone and would not have known about all the different features you present. I was not familiar with the iphone to begin with as I have been using Android phones in the past. I'm not that old but not that young either ( mid fifties) so I appreciate all the help I can get ! Thank you for posting this video 🙂
I recently used Touch in accessibility to put a virtual home button on the screen. I find that useful because I can tap it to return to home, tap it twice to put the phone to sleep, tap hold to open the sub menu to do a few more things including taking a screenshot. Never again do I need to use the physical buttons on the side of the phone. I did this also on my iPad.
@@Cheyanne882 It’s a bit too complicated to explain in writing. Easy to use but complicated to explain. If you type into RUclips search, iPhone Virtual Home Button, you will find numerous videos explaining how to set it up and use. One thing I will note is that you need to enter a number of milliseconds for the Long Press Duration, I set mine to 0.55s. And at the moment I use mine as Single Tap = Home. Double Tap = Screenshot. Long Press = Lock Screen. But how you use it will be up to your requirements. I keep my virtual button located in the top centre of the screen because in that location it does not interfere often with apps I use. But finding an ideal location for it is a bit tricky. And I have it’s opacity set at 23% but you may choose to set it more or less than that. Generally speaking if you have issues understanding things about the phone there are RUclips videos that can help.
Or if you create a virtual home button in the Touch menu you can have it so you just tap that virtual button and you will shoot back to the first page of your Home Screen.
i never stop laughing how apple users are so exited about widgets and home screen customization in 2020 :DD i remember my s3 or s4 had those features in 2013~
I thought the same thing, lots of widgets to choose from.. LOL.. Still don't understand though, why Apple insist on such cluttered screens, I don't want a dozen different buttons on my home screen.
@@cheetahman859 huh? I’m just saying if you don’t like it don’t buy it. I have apple myself and I couldn’t care less about how cluttered the screen is. I’m fine with it.
@@zzztriplezzz5264 Well clearly you aren't as you had to comment. You feel better now, you got your Internet attention? Poor thing all butt hurt because someone doesn't like what you like. Well welcome to the real world pumpkin, where nobody cares
I used to have iphone 7+, and then iphone xs. But now I'm using a samsung note 10+. Different phones have different pros and cons. Iphone is not doubt one of the best. Though i currently don't use one, i like to watch reviews and how to operate different phones and platforms. Good job on this video. I think I now can run the latest iphone better than most users out there that have an iphone more for status symbol.

You might have a chance with us to get the iPhone 12 , check us out ! ruclips.net/video/KxFSOG2gDOE/видео.html
Very excellent video! Thank you so much! I'm going to buy the new iPhone so I can't wait!
I just got my pro max but I haven't opened it yet until I get my screen protector. Hopefully it gets delivered today
Same. My phone was sitting in my drawer for a week until my phone case and combined screen protector came.
As some one who has never had a iPhone this was very helpful. Samsung Galaxy S20 too the IPhone 12. It feels so different
This is a very helpful video. I wish there was an index at the beginning though so I can do different chapters when I need a refresher.
See EJ McColl's comment...he/she added a TIMESTAMP by topic (6 months prior to this comment)
@@kathynichols2775 yeah pretty embarrassing
Thank you, brilliant. Who knew I can actually use the “notes” easily & usefully? Would you always recommend keeping your phone mostly secret. I’m always a little scared of using the app, I actually have a notebook with all my passwords in. (I should say that I’m ill & rarely go out, but I’m hoping to change that, but I know it’s not ideal.
Just transferred my iPhone 5s to a 12 Mini! Very easy, clear instructions! Thank you!
Thanks a lot , it was most helpful and concise!
I'm switching from Android to iOS, this is a great video
Great Video... I've been an Android user since day one. I am thinking about switching to Apple. I have a Note 10Plus and i dont like the Note 20 Plus. i also use a OnePlus 7Pro. Should i switch now to an Iphone 12 pro max or should i wait till the 13 Pro Max?
@MobsLive thanks, I should have mines by then also!
A must watch video for anyone who has bought this product at the Mac store or anywhere else.
This video is super helpful! I learned about so many new features. Thank you!!
New to iPhones. Just got iPhone12 pro max. this video was very informative.
Many thanks
I got my 12pro unblacklisted by hacktivists1 on lG .He's really as good as promised
@@LifeWithBradleyCartoon Sorry, but I don't understand your reply.

I would only ever use this feature if i had a problem seeing small things. I don’t see me using it like ever.
As a previous Samsung user this is very helpful
Thanks for the details of how to use it! However, watching it makes me dizzy and shake my head... you constantly moving the focus, the phone, the hand gesture, etc, etc. Hmm... is there a way you can "steadily" present or zoom in/out gracefully? Just a thought. Great content, though. Thanks.
Really helpful. saved an iphone going in the rubbish. Thank you very much
This is really really really really helpful!
I just bought the iPhone 12 today I love it
Thank you for this outstanding series of helpful tips. I've had an iPhone for 4 years but learned so much!
This is great! Very helpful. Although constantly moving the phone in and out is a little dizzying.
I thought this was very helpful. He mentioned "Iphone 10" several times, when this was about iphone 12. There are also times when he moved too fast for those of us not as familiar with the phone. I just went back and replayed and paused it.
This helped. I need to watch parts over again. Thank you for the time and work you put into this video.
Why is there so many ads?, I counted 16 of them. Also you could've added timestamps. Great video tho. 💗
See EJ McColl's comments from 8 months ago (approx Jan 2021). He/she included an index of Timestamps.
Way too much product promotion! Shop, buy, consume, spend, save! Really ruined the video for me.
Just bought my first i Phone ,overwhelmed but found your video ,whew thanks man !
Good video, but who has time to watch it for almost two hours ? Consider indexing in the text header by topics and times for those of us looking for specific things. Thank you.
I needed this, got the 12 pro max as my first Iphone
See EJ McColl's comment from 8 mo ago (approx Jan 2021) for a great TIMESTAMP index.
What is the app where you're drawing man
It is in Notes, the one with the yellow heading! Took me a while to figure that out, he should have told!
This was so helpful for buying my first iphone! As well my fam members dont have one! It helped me very much:)
Hey there is a video in your ad
even apple does not have this much detailed info on their website. you have explained me far better than the apple representative. keep up !!!
Using emergency sos my iphone 6 would randomly call 911 if i was doing jumping jack or running or moving fast
i dont have an iphone, but thats cool
I recently used Touch in accessibility to put a virtual home button on the screen. I find that useful because I can tap it to return to home, tap it twice to put the phone to sleep, tap hold to open the sub menu to do a few more things including taking a screenshot. Never again do I need to use the physical buttons on the side of the phone. I did this also on my iPad.
That sounds like a feature I would like to add. Can you explain exactly how i do this?....I am new to iphone
@@aussie8114 ty very very much for your detailed reply. I really appreciate the time you took to help me here in cold Canada! :-)
How do you customize the stack widget? I use RUclips A lot and want to put it in the stack
Great tutorial.I just purchase the 12 pro. I will be visiting it again. THANKS
I just wanna know how to get to the first page of my apps when I’m on my 6th without having to swipe left a bunch of times...
Hold the dots that show what page you are on and drag your finger to the left
Or if you create a virtual home button in the Touch menu you can have it so you just tap that virtual button and you will shoot back to the first page of your Home Screen.
Thank you so much amazing!
Please make video on complete beginners guide on iPhone 12 mini
Too many commercials when your trying to learn to use the phone.
I JUST ORDERED A 12 PRO I HAVEN'T RECIEVED IT YET BUT THIS VIDEO IS GETTING ME READY FOR IT. THANK YOU
i never stop laughing how apple users are so exited about widgets and home screen customization in 2020 :DD i remember my s3 or s4 had those features in 2013~
I thought the same thing, lots of widgets to choose from.. LOL.. Still don't understand though, why Apple insist on such cluttered screens, I don't want a dozen different buttons on my home screen.
@@cheetahman859 you don’t have to buy it then. That’s how shopping works.
@@zzztriplezzz5264 And that's why it went back... Somebody is Butt hurt cause they don't like apple crap... Need a tissue?
Thank you for this video! Just got my 12 this was so helpful-RiaCatherine
interesting but I bought it to make and receive PHONE CALLS,contact list and HEAR messages.
not a clue.
