Until Bungie takes a serious look at nerfing The Lightblade GM or removing it from the Gilded conqueror title rotation I’m not participating in anymore Gilded conqueror titles. If Bungie wants to keep nerfing exotics then they should really take a cold hard look at the Lightblade GM. Its not challenging, its not fun, its just punishment for the sake of trolling the player base. And before I hear from the “Get Good” fan boys out there let me say that I probably have about 60-80 runs of Lightblade GM by now. I get to the boss room about 40% of the time, and i average about 110+ kills in those boss room runs. And I have zero clears since Lightblade GM release. I’m holding my own just fine. What is really annoying me is this ridiculous RNG that seems to be going on throughout the entirety of this GM. there is no way to account for a single Lucent Hive shield throw that seeming track all three of us even though we are on opposite sides of the room. Or the swamp that is unpassable if you don’t have Invis Hunter. Yes. I have waited for all the spawns in the swamp. That strat does work but it takes 5min off the clock. Almost every other GM can be planned out except this one. The best part of the RMG in the LBGM is when we are down to the last couple barrier champs in the boss room and just as we are taking aim to break his shield the boss charges or even kills you from across the room. the LBGM has become a joke and a compete waste of my time at this point. With all the RNG nonsense killing you, there is no way you can point to this GM and tell me there is some skill involved. If you got the completion then you got lucky.
I've gotten quite a few completions by now running icefall mantle and haven't had too much trouble. The boss room can get a little chaotic but as long as you clear out the champions asap, it doesn't get too overwhelming
Ive found for the swamp your best way is to use silk strike and just grapple until the end but yea i agree this gm absolutely sucks and now with the banes it's ridiculous and the boss room is a nightmare that you really don't control and one stupid thing could wipe it so easily
