Very cool 🤙 I just acquired my first 64 and decided to go twin turbo 400 sbc with a 400 trans twin gt30's. Just ordered everything up and will be doing a thrash build on it from mostly extra parts from the garage.
I feel bad for your painting at black but like you said, you can paint it again. I did body work for years and it's a pain in the lost. My use of my arm and s*** like I used to. And the panels I bought for my truck and s***Oh my god I had to add subtract Is section it's horrible
I say air bag that 63. Once you want to sell it throw some staggered wheels and sell it to a wider audience. Plus it’s a nice smooth ride for the family cruise.

I had one set that was mine I used to make a 64 convertible conversion. And had another set that I was trying to sell for a customer that he ended up selling to someone up in Detroit.
Fully wrapped frame with convertible mounts added. They are in the middle of the floor pan. They come factory on the convertible frames that way. Plus the rocker panels have been reinforced with steel rectangle tubing the full length. I set it inside the rocker while I was re doing the floors so you can’t see it.

I have a 4 dr daily right now and have gather what I think is all parts to do a 2dr conv. Minus the roof. You think mounts and beefing up the rockers would be ok for a weekend cruiser?
