Its a great laptop I've had mine since it launched I got it the same week and I still haven't upgraded, the new 14" Pro's do be looking good but I don't see why it would be worth upgrading unless if I were to get higher storage but that means I'll have to spend 3 to 4k euro to upgrade so no I'll keep this one, its a great and very capable lil machine

I just picked up this exact model (8GB 512GB)! A retailer in the USA had one sitting around. I got a great deal on it and just planned on trading it in brand new towards an M3 Macbook Air 16GB 512GB. After using it for a few days, I REFUSE to trade it in! It just looks GREAT and performs well! I dont edit videos, music, nothing! Basically I use it as an expensive chromebook! lol. The new body M2 Pros and Airs just look too plain to me. And the MACBOOK PRO logo under the screen makes me smile. hahahahaha. Congrats! And Im watching this video on a Samsung M8 monitor with the M2 MacMini 8gb 256gb!

Congrats on the new Mac buddy, just purchased my girlfriend a 14” M3 MAX which I thinks over powered for her needs, essays lol…..which leads to me to my next purchase for myself the IPad Pro 13” nano textured 2TB M4 very disappointed in the upcoming software update they’ve stuck a 5ltr supercharged V8 and only letting out the equivalent of a hybrid 99c engine, I’ve got an all Apple ecosystem in my house, and somehow giving me thoughts into thinking is Apple becoming only a rich man’s/woman’s brand? Granted my iPad is insane for playing games etc but my old 12.9 2TB iPad Pro 6th gen is still more than capable of staying in the game, and also my other Pros the Gen 3/4/5 the fifth being the M1 and even that is still something I grab to watch YT channels to let my new one take a break after a session on procreate, i genuinely am considering purchasing the same Mac as yourself for uploading my sketch work to give samples to clients however im concerned some people have bad feedback towards the Touch Bar but then again im never really disappointed in apples devices, it’s normally Android or Samsung users who slate the Apple devices haha All the best with your new Mac may it give you lots of happy years and also luck in your YT career

@@HarrisonFraser just future proofing buddy, apple never before has jumped a chip apart from MacBooks, I can genuinely believe something big is happening at Apple HQ, will this iPad M4 be the last one for perhaps 3-5 years? Nothing and I mean nothing comes close to this power in this M4 chip you could leave an app open and return to it several weeks later still exactly the same way as you left it, playing console games on it is insane zero glitches, again zero apps had to close, as for the Nano texture I love it, zero scratches or even marks on the screen, I’m now in agreement with apple that this screen is superior to the standard, if you genuinely feel the colours a less superior than the standard then yea maybe but that’s being up next close to one, apple designed the nano texture for a few reasons, and I believe more have to come, its partly why I chose to upgrade also, my headaches are completely gone and I’m on this device 10hrs a day 6 sometimes 7 days a week typing on the new Magic Keyboard and its great sitting in the park or patio with a beer and just not having to move for the sun and I mean evening sun the sun. People hate driving in this handles it like a dream! So if people just gave it more of a chance and forgot about the return period just get AppleCare+ the fella at apple assured me there would be no issues in trading it for a standard glass IF any issues occur in the future but he told me you will be surprised at how much that etched glass can take and what it took during the tests, we shall return here in 1 year and see if my theory has been proven or went horribly wrong, IF you are able I would personally try and exchange for the new iPad but one that’s affordable for what you do I would say for value and future proof grab the 1tB WIFI 13” M4 with Magic Keyboard, perhaps buy one then return to if your unhappy, but I promise it’ll make your MacBook look like a sloth, I’m genuinely not saying your MacBook is terrible I’m meaning for speed and hardware and for what you paid you could of gotten better, you could even buy the cheapest one and maybe use both but be careful which one you choose as you want this to be of value not just a fancy new device, if your serious about making a go of things this is an ideal portable workhorse I’m genuinely doing 4 weeks of travelling around America and South America and I’m using this to check into work and write up NDAs and holding very large files and I have no concerns about it whatsoever All the Best and keep us updated on your new venture =

But in the M2 I think its great becasue you do get esc key and also its more optimized and also dose not break anymore, and this time around its made from glass and it was plastic on some previous models
