There’s something about call-and-response style verse between two vocalists in a romantic context that works super well, and the teeny bopper guitar line and that bubblegum “baby, baby ooh” and “i can love you long time” work really well. It’s a great, poppy rnb song, i’d just love the mashup even more with a song that had more serious, romantic lyrics where the call-and-response verse still fit and everything flowed instrumentally as nicely as this does. That said, this is still excellent and as usual triple q killed it. I definitely prefer this version over either of these songs, if only because I don’t understand Japanese.

yes! the anime focused more on the sexual context instead of the deeper psychological parts of whether it was ok to love who you wanted even if they're not human and they can't give everything of them or risk loosing everything you held dear together ( they focused too much on that part the not being able to sex part and it was sad). also it was confusing what Chii and Freyas power did to persocoms. they just glossed over it. it's a very sweet story about love and acceptance and most people just remember her on switch is in her no no place lol
