A very great film. Every time I see him again, I am going to love him more and more. Interesting how Sam Heughan picked up enough of Roger Moore's mannerisms to make the father-son relationship realistic without exaggerating. He really is a great actor.

Parody is not hallmark's strongest suit. It might be easier for the script writer(s) but playing it straight would make a stronger story ('The Prince and Me' does it alot better. 'A Royal Romance' better still)
