Currently planning out a few videos since my new job is starting to pick up with my workload, let me know if there's any video topics you'd like me to add to my list! Currently have: - Cyber security jobs for beginners (actual beginners, like for bootcamp students or upcoming grads) - Highest paid cyber security certifications - Cyber security career regrets (early career)
Great advice, I just finished an IT training program but I’ve realized I’m not too interested in that kind of role. I’m glad I signed up for the course, as I’m sure the knowledge will be invaluable in trying to become a junior pentester, but there is still so much I have yet to learn.
I'm trying to break into this field and currently getting into CTFs; that documenting tip is going to be something I'm going to start implementing in my skill-building
I am ISSO and its a good field to know for GCRC and RMF side however I come from the Pen testing side and I find it more appealing and career growth to do especially when you tell people from other Cyber positions you know the concepts and methods of it.
Can you also make a video on how to be a security analyst? I'm pretty sure that there are also many aspiring defenders out there and this would help them a lot ;)
Hey Xavier, thanks for watching! 😄 My favorites are Krebs on security, Rapid7 blog, anything related to CISA alerts, Irongeek, and Schneier on security!
As someone interested in cyber but have no experience or degree in anything tech related it feels complete impossible to enter the field let alone being a woman in cyber
Hii,in the field of cybersecurity do you have to update yourself every year? are there always new technologies, new methods, new attacks and new ways to defend against cyber attacks?
Ive heard about their program a lot! I think Josh Makador went through their program and would probs be more qualified to talk about it if you visit his channel!😁
A degree doesn’t necessarily have to be 4 years. Associate degrees are available in cyber security and those are 2 years. And if you already have a degree then a masters in cyber security is also 2 years or less. A bootcamp as ur only education does not seem professional, in my opinion. :)
Metasploit is great for training when you’re just getting started, but in a a practical sense, metasploit is also a bit loud and can trigger off alerts or make it known you’re doing something potentially suspicious so it’s not necessarily the best red team tool or for a real world scenario, but it has lots of out of the box exploits you can try during CTFs and other challenges, hope this helps!
@@Jefe_LiftsHeavy np and good luck Jeffrey!! I’d def use the tool to your advantage and learn from but also focus on other tools and skills companies are hiring for, typically burpsuite, nmap, maybe wireshark, different vulnerability scanners, etc. Keep us updated with your progress 😄!

all good suggestions for those that want to get into pentesting in cybersecurity
Nicely done beautiful lady! I hope your new job is going well!!
Thanks John 😁 So far so good! Will share more details in the coming weeks, hope you’re doing well too!
2 years later and still so relevant.. Do you have a mentorship program?
Just finished my masters in Cyber and don't even know what next.
Can you also make a video on how to be a security analyst? I'm pretty sure that there are also many aspiring defenders out there and this would help them a lot ;)
You are very inspiring. Thanks💥👍
Thanks so much for watching Paulo! 😁😁
Awesome video like usual.
Question: for Feedly. Do you have any favorite blogs you enjoy or find most current/accurate?
Hey Xavier, thanks for watching! 😄 My favorites are Krebs on security, Rapid7 blog, anything related to CISA alerts, Irongeek, and Schneier on security!
@@WithSandra thank you 🙏🏾
Hello, can you show us an example of writing your own hack wall?
Is pentesting stressful? Like do you feel a lot of pressure. Do companies hire a lot of pentesters or just one? Great video , so informative.
Most jobs are stressful I think. If you enjoy it, than the stress is probably worth it.

can you do a review on the wgu cybersecurity bachelors program?
Ive heard about their program a lot! I think Josh Makador went through their program and would probs be more qualified to talk about it if you visit his channel!😁
How do you like to document? Typically on paper? Or do you categorize a OneNote? Or save on drive file directory in VScode?
Thanks I’m advance
Thank you so much 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Are you shifted to pentesting? It is a really a nice move, much less stressful, and giving lot of fun.
"bird being bird" :D
Which area in cyber security are you working toward? Red team?
nice video
Why is pentesting/ethical hacking not the highest paying cyber job because it seems to require a lot of skills and tools
Can you make a roadmap for hacking 😅 it will be helpful for beginners like us
I love your make up 😍 from Mauritania 🇲🇷

Are you a pen tester now?
CompTIA Pen+ ;)
Why is metasploit not good ?

Nothing is free now.
Hello dying camera😆
Yeah, bane of my existence 😂
Hi
Hey Yelamareddy thanks for watching!😄
This video is awesome when you put the playback to .75x to slow it down
You talk wayyyyyyyyyyy too fast lol
Lol this is actually the recommendation i give people that say i talk too fast, .75x speed seems to be the sweet spot
@@WithSandra I watch all of them on 2x speed and still feel like I could’ve saved some more time watching them a little faster
Before I watch this video, I’m going to drop by n say you’re beautiful like how a religious person gives thanks to the lord before every meal
You talk a lot 🤕😵
This is a video where i’m talking about a topic so yes :)
@@WithSandra haha yes ik was just kidding 😆
hey
Hey @Monk thanks for watching 😆😆
