Thank you for being here and sharing your tips and skills. I love these stitching cards as they keep my hands busy and out of the cookie jar when watching television. You are a star Jennifer,
You do such beautiful work so if it is a really long video, we get to watch you stitching projects. I know that when my Sister- law sent me birthday cards that she stitched i still have them i love to look back and like to look at them every now and again, They are so special to me so i have kept them! .
Don’t ever feel the need to apologize for the length of your videos, I can’t imagine how long it takes you to create it!! We viewers are so thankful for the time and effort you put into every video you make. Your cards are stunning and your explanations are so easy to understand. Thank you.
Awesome cards here! I’ve always enjoyed stitching (I still do counted cross-stitch....stitching dies are much easier!!). I don’t know why you always apologize for “long” videos....has anyone ever complained? Your videos are so packed with ideas and beautiful examples, along with many tips and tricks, that it goes by without me even knowing or caring how long it is. In fact, I’d say it always ends way too soon! Please don’t apologize. If people don’t like it, they can press “stop” and walk away. Thanks again for another great tutorial. ❤️🦋💜
Jennifer, you are beyond Amazing & extremely talented! I love all your you tube videos on card making. You r my mentor & my inspiration! Thank you so much for working hard to teach & share your ideas with the world for free🥰🙏🏼 I’m addicted to stitching on cards. Absolutely love the joy of creating such beautiful cards and gifting them. If possible, I would love to see a youtube video of how you organize for dmc floss. I appreciate you sharing your prepping technique to stitch on the go. That was very helpful. Love u so much😻🥰
Hello Thank you for sharing your helpful tips and hints, and ideas on stitching cards MY Sister - in law got me involved in trying card stitching I'm really enjoying doing it.
I just love your style. Thanks for sharing so I can try out new techniques. Also, I like the longer videos, so nice just to sit back and relax watching them.
This is my second time watching this video and will continue to watch all stitching videos. All the cards are so beautiful it almost makes me want to cry. I have some dies that I can use for stitching but they are setting in a pile. I kinda am getting anxiety about using them. I'm going to try today and if I fail it'll be no big deal, huh. Just start again. Wish me luck. So glad to hear that Yana is ok. thank you. And your videos are NEVER long enough!!!
Jennifer, you are going to improve my health!♥️ I decided I will do this while I watch TV, instead of mindless snacking. ♥️ I am so smitten with these stitched cards🥰
Those beautifully “embroidered” pieces (especially the layered one) would make lovely ornaments. I will need to come up with a way to make them neatly detachable from the cards for that purpose. 🥰
Thank you so much for this video. I didn't find it to be too long at all. I am ninety- one and have loved various forms of needlework all my life. So I am excited to try this. You are a wonderful person.
I can’t tell you how much fun I am having stitching on cardstock. Thank you for showing us all these fantastic dies and sets that we can use to make beautiful cards with ! The days at work to by much faster when you have something to do between sales :-)
What can I say...what a great tutorial this was about stitching. I love cards with stitching on it. It brings another dement ion to it. To me it's very detailed and adds complexity to the design. The strong background colors really makes a bold statement. I just loved all your samples so much. I don't think of it as relaxing though as I tend to tense up when I'm doing it. I have to concentrate really hard so that I don't forget where I'm at. ha ha ha. Like with knitting. I always have problems pop up. I have to really focus. or I'm lost. So I really appreciate stitching on cards.. It can be sort of hard for me. Your lucky you can relax. If a son of mine was pitching a game I would be a nervous wreck. I really enjoyed this lesson a lot. Gives me a lot of ideas. They were all so beautiful.....pat
Oh my goodness! This video is AAAAhhhh...mazing!!! I knew when...a couple of weeks ago...you said you'd be producing some videos on Spellbinders Stitched dies...I just knew they'd be great videos! I had subscribed to the "Glimmer 'n Cut" Value Club for 3 months and decided I NEEDED to subscribe to the "Total Package" Value Club a couple of months ago. I haven't looked back!! What a deal! And now I see I have to purchase a couple of other stitched die sets. Your work is always so inspiring to all of us. I was waiting patiently for this video to come out. Thanks for all the beautiful card ideas. And I pray you never feel you need to apologize if your videos are long. I could watch a 2-hour "movie" of your teaching me all of your beautiful ideas. Thanks! I'll be trotting on over to your blog to get closer looks and all the extra details. Thanks for the tips you've given on stitching on cardstock. I've been a "stitcher" for about 6 decades now. (Yes...I'm older than dirt!) I love cross stitch and embroidery. And appreciate that I can incorporate it into my cardmaking. Look forward to all of your videos, but even more so now!
Please don’t apologize for a long video. I was so excited to see a 41 minute video. I can’t imagine all the hard and effort you put into this video and all your videos, thank you!
Thank you so much for sharing! I never would have considered stitching cards, until I watched your (never too long) videos! I have learned so much from you, as I am new to cardmaking. Jennifer, you are very much appreciated.
Thanks for your inspiration! I finally tried out my Spellbinders stitching dies. It was relaxing ad fun, and I made a Ukraine-themed card using my Stampin' Up sentiment stamps!
Thank you for this video. I am happy to see that stitching on cards is becoming popular, using dies. I know you are a big fan of stitching on cardstock, and with you many others including me. I have been doing stitching on paper for many years, although in a different way. I use patterns, or metal templates and prik the holes with a very fine needle. Much smaller holes than the dies make. And then use a very fine needle and thin metallic thread. Compared to one single strand of DMC out of six. In The Netherlands, where I used to live, it is called embroidery on cards. The patterns are different and are not the focal point of the card. That is usually a 3D element. The results are quite different. But that is totally not important, it is just a little bit different than working with dies. Doing stitches on cards is very relaxing and is very enjoyable. I will get some of these dies, my problem is more to choose between all these gorgeous possibilities. Again, thank you for this video and for your positive influence on this technique 👍
Jennifer love your work. Great variations so glad to see that the die companions have made the dies with holes in them. The card I send you I had to put the holes in. If I remember correctly it had over 1,000 holes. So glad that you did receive it. I received your thank you card the day my mother died, it is beautiful and once I get my craft room set up as I have moved it will have a special place in the room. Thank you again for that beautiful card.
Wow all of your stitched cards are absolutely gorgeous. I love all the different colors. I love how you stitched a square in the middle of the stitched design. All of your tips will be so helpful. This was an awesome video.
Thank you for the idea of making a loop with the floss and drawing the thread through. I've been doing cross stitching and embroidery for 40 years and have never seen that idea. What a simple and clean way of starting off a piece of floss! I really dislike taping down the end. It's so messy. Trying to catch the end of the floss in the stitching is so hit or miss. Thanks for your inspiration for stitching and card making in general. Now I've got my next stitching projects ready to go!
You never have to apologize for long videos, if someone doesn't have the time to watch all of it, they can always watch it in two or three sections. I've been been known to do this once in a while. Love all your work. Waiting for my stitching dies. Been doing counted cross stitch for years.
I never knew there were so many dies for stitched card making. Stitching is my first love. FYI It is best to stitch down into a center hole to a motif. This way if the thread frays it will be on the back of the card and not the frount.
Your videos are never too long, i love looking at it to get ideas. This is so relaxing for me. Hope you make many more when you have the time. Greetings from the Netherlands 🥰😀🇳🇱
Thank you sooo much for this video. Stitching on card stock has become my favorite type of card. Spellbinders has amazing dies and you have amazing designs. I was thrilled to see this video. Hugs
Hi Jennifer ! Thank you so much for sharing this video and inspire me.. the complete true is that I love your videos specially when they are so long as this one because I know it's full of details and new techniques and ideas that I'll love to apply in my cards. I would like if you can provide us a link where we can send our cards to help Ukraine, special gifts made with love will be a good way to welcome them and warm their hearts.
I just love all of these cards! I really find stitching relaxing as well and I love the unique look it gives the cards. Thanks for all the tips. I especially like the idea of using an unstitched die-cut as a background!
Jennifer, thanks so much for sharing such an informative video. I have stitched since I was pretty young. Until I saw one of your 1st stitching videos I was not interested. All it took was one Spellbinder project and some pretty colors and now I’m hooked. This video is the best. So many wonderful ideas. I have purchased the Spellbinders Limited Edition of Layered Stitched Diamonds. My biggest concern is coordinating and placing colors. I guess my best idea would be to pull out my color wheel and choose coordinating colors. Thank you again for the additional site. Jennifer this video was not long for me as it was so informative and interesting. God Bless ❤️gayle
I finally got around to trying stitching on card stock and it is fun. Major face palm: it didn't occur to me to anchor my starting thread with the loop method you showed first, and I've been sewing since dinosaurs walked the earth, LOL. Yet another reason I love your videos...
What a stunning line up of cards and so many different looks just by changing the thread colours! Gorgeous Jennifer and I loved the rainbow one towards the end. So many absolutely beautiful ideas! Thanks for another inspiring video xoxo
I found this very interesting. I just started card making in December when I Embroidered my Christmas cards, then embroidered valentine cards. So I thought I give regular card making a try. Now I find this video of you hand stitching cards. People always tell me the sewing/quilting is a very expensive Hobby. But I think card making has that beat! Well almost your machines may not cost $15,000 but the supplies do you total up very quickly.
I can't believe it! I actually purchased some of these dies *before* you demonstrated them. It is hard to get some of the supplies *after* the video airs because everyone is so excited to try your techniques and the shops run out of product quickly :-) Thank you for all your generosity of time and thoughtfulness.
Thank you for more wonderful cards! I know I've said this many times....even if your videos were 3 hours long, I would still watch it. I love seeing what you create. And those stitched cards are beautiful and time consuming, we all know that. Thank you for putting so much time in showing us different techniques and process that get our creative juices flowing. I'm sure I'm not the only one here that says your videos are the best. I can't wait to see what you create next. And your blog is also amazing. People definitely need to give it a try. Between being able to see everything you create, to being able to bookmark projects, to the listings of the supplies used, to the ink swatch documents....it's jammed packed with all sorts of creative goodness. Everyone should give it a try. You won't be sorry! Thank you Jennifer. I hope you and your family stay safe and have a wonderful day!
Love stitching on cards! Thank you for sharing. The big take away for me was taping the foiling sentiments to another sheet of paper. I’ve struggled so much trying NOT make them shift. Somewhere along the line I always seem to get little shadows of foil. I know what I’ll be practicing tomorrow! Thanks ever so much. ❤️
Jennifer these cards are soooo attractive, and I am now going to source the dies in the UK. I use Gutermann holographic thread with teabag folding ! Thank you for sharing such wonderful creations 🌍🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🌍
Thank you for sharing your passion for stitching on cards. They are beautiful! The time went by fast as you showed great techniques and so many different cards. Thanks Jennifer! 💗
Stitching on paper is so great! I love the look of the finished card because they are so different from anything you would find in a store. Also, great tips on starting and finishing, using the loop to secure the thread at the start is ingenious (why didn't I think of that?)
Awesome cards as usual Jennifer McGuire you are my inspiration. I strive to be as good as you someday. THANK YOU for sharing your talents with us all I have learned much from you. Now to go stitch my heart out lol have a wonderful day.
I have decided to use what’s in my stash for next 4 months and I have 98% what in this video! Thanks for the tip on adhering the glimmer dies to the copy paper! Genius ! Thanks for all the inspiration !
I absolutely love love all your stitching cards. This has become my absolute favorite thing to do to relax. Thank you so much for all your creativity and for inspiring me to stitch.
Nice Floss, need more metallic thread . Wow need to check out the thread dies 😊. Need to get help to flip my house to make craft room in my bedroom and bed in my living room. So I can use my foil machine and circuits. Very nice cards as always .TFS
Absolutely beautiful Jennifer! Stitching is my therapy! It really does help me relax and distracts me from all my stress and worries! Wonderful inspiration! Now to convince my husband that I need this dies for my mental health! 😉 ❤️
Love all the stitching dies! I have some already and more are on the way! Thank you so much for all the useful tips you have shared. Thank you so much Jennifer!
What an array of fabulous cards. I now understand why it took you so long to post this video. I’m sure all your recipients are going to be very appreciative of your creative work. Many, if not all of these cards are framable. St least that’s what I would do if I received one! 😉 Thanks Jennifer, this long video was so worth the viewing time.
@Jennifer • I've seen other videos using the stitching dies but wasn't really impressed. You sold me when you showed the card where you didn't follow the imprinted pattern but chose to finish it with a stitched square. Since I also subscribe to Roseworld, these dies seem perfect to try out some of her stitches then be able to put my practice to use. At the end when you showed the same die with different color palettes I also realized how helpful these dies could be to someone like me who doesn't always have the best color sense. Ink is permanent but if the threads don't look like you envision, you can always remove them and start again. So, even though this video was long, it was certainly inspiring. Thanks.
Absolutely stunning cards! I've always loved cross stitching, now I'll have to try stitching on paper. As always, thank you for the inspiration. Never apologize for the length of your videos. They are perfect!! I appreciate all of the time and energy you put into them. 😍😍
These cards are so pretty and these stitch dies by spell binders are fantastic, can't afford to buy right now but on my wish list for sure. I love your tutorials, you are a great teacher. You are very thorough in explaining the different techniques. Love it!!!
Thank you for being here and sharing your tips and skills. I love these stitching cards as they keep my hands busy and out of the cookie jar when watching television. You are a star Jennifer,
Just sent screen shots over to my boyfriend so he’ll get me most of these for my 60th birthday next month! Happy birthday to me!
I'm next month too but 2 yrs behind you. I love these designs

You do such beautiful work so if it is a really long video, we get to watch you stitching projects. I know that when my Sister- law sent me birthday cards that she stitched i still have them i love to look back and like to look at them every now and again, They are so special to me so i have kept them! .
I spent HOURS doing embroidery as a child. I am SURE I would love this!
I don’t mind your videos being long…especially for these stitched cards…some of my favs too!!! 🇺🇸❤️🇺🇸
Don’t ever feel the need to apologize for the length of your videos, I can’t imagine how long it takes you to create it!! We viewers are so thankful for the time and effort you put into every video you make. Your cards are stunning and your explanations are so easy to understand. Thank you.
I totally agree. And BTW; i love to watch your video's, Jennifer. They are a great inspiration for me, so.....never too long!!!! :-)

I LOVE that Ellen Hudson background die!! It looks like 14ct. adia cloth, um cross stitch cloth which is a perfect background for a stitched card!
No need for apologizes for length of your video. I could watch and listen to you all day long!
I love the long videos. No apology ever needed Jennifer. Thanks!
Thank you for getting me hooked on stitching on paper! I just love it❤️

Embroidery- cross stitching. That’s so cool; I have lots of skeins
Wow absolutely gorgeous cards! I would love to try stitching on cards! ❤
Those beautifully “embroidered” pieces (especially the layered one) would make lovely ornaments. I will need to come up with a way to make them neatly detachable from the cards for that purpose. 🥰
I like the way you use colors. They look beautiful.

I've already wash and swooned over this so had to see it again. Then I realized I hadn't thumbs upped. Yes multi-thumbs ups!

But that is totally not important, it is just a little bit different than working with dies. Doing stitches on cards is very relaxing and is very enjoyable. I always watch the whole video. There s always something ingenious for me to take away. Doesn’t matter how long. Thank You!
I’m in love with every card. Thank you.

Yes! I agree, definitely going to try taping mine too
Yes! I thought this was brilliant!
Simply beautiful! Have always loved stitching since childhood. Such a great way to combine embroidery with our love of card making!

Love your art. Your videos can never be too long. I always want more.
I just bought some of them. I am sure they won’t look like yours but I know I’ll have a good time. Beautiful cards

Thanks Jennifer, this long video was so worth the viewing time.
Thanks.
I love cross stitching so these are right up my alley. Love these, thanks Jennifer 💚
That’s a great tip with going back thru the loop to lock the thread in place.
Glad it was helpful!
