I love this selection. The best bok team so far in 2024. Starting team looks very solid with good attacking potential. The bench is also exciting. Lots of speed there.
For a player who prefers the 10 position the question nobody is asking is why does Sacha have to wait to play at international level to perform in his preferred position. He should be learning his trade at the URC level and not at international level. If Rassie believes he is the future in this position surely the URC coaches should fall in line !!!
He played 10 in 2022 for Jun Boks go watch the Six Nations Summer Series just after Cov|9. He is good at ten, more of a tactical kicker, maybe they play him different at club to give him game time.
@@JohnTerblanche-l1r I agree. I'm a stormers supporter but if Dobbo just uses him as an afterthought again this season he should just be transferred to another club so he can get the reps in. Hoping Dobbo sees the light - Manie at 12, SFM at 10.
Sascha played 10 for Junior Boks in 2022. Go watch six nations summer series. He looked like a fish in water, really comfortable. Hope he brings it on Sat morning.

Sacha is being groomed into the future flyhalf position. He has great attributes and talent hence Rassie believe he is future fit. In terms of winning, we shouldn't have a problem as our back up plan is secured, Pollie on the bence and various players can shift into various positions, so Rassie and team knows what they are doing, in fact whatever our opinion is I believe they have thought it through. So have peace of mind that we have a great coaching team with great players. Bokke Bokke 🙏
The elephant in the “room/team” is Marco van Staden and Willie le Roux. Putting Pollard on the bench literally gave an opportunity to pick the bench that would have showed “THE FUTURE”. Bench: Marx, Steenekamp, Koch, BJD, Kwagga, Williams, Pollard, Am
@@ForeverSports point is that MvS doesn’t add any value of real significance from the bench. The entire picture of the team could have changed by including Am on the bench instead of MvS. Would have given Wallabies coach something much more significant to think about and plan for.

Rassie is 6'2(188 cm's) ,De Allende is 6'3(191cm's) .Its an optical illusion..Rassie is in fact shorter thn him.
It looks like Damian is sitting slightly behind the good Dr.
Remember Rassi was a Rugby player himself, so he'll be just about as big as he was when he was playing for the Springboks long ago.

Dobbo has his own problems. Trying to keep his own job. He has done a good job too.
He might not fit in with a clubs play style.. but he definitely fits in with the bok way of doing things.
