Kino, I run no trunk springs on my setup. They really aren't necessary. I have two strong neodymium magnets on the top of the hinges to hold up my trunk. They are strong enough to hold up my carbon trunk and voltex wing.
That trunk looks GREAT! I was browsing RPG's site and saw the honeycomb weave but wasn't sure I would like it, but after seeing it in this video under natural light I'm def going this route. Thanks for posting this video Kino it was a big help. Also you could do a carbon wrap on your panels, or just wrap the roof and wing and then get a carbon hood for more contrast. 👍
the work and details on the exhaust is wicked. love it. i have a factory blue impreza and i love it. will be working on it. but ti will admit i love the tail lights and will be getting those. i am truly sorry but those ae awesome looking. will send pics when done.

How do you plan on re-mounting the wing? Just drilling through? They make a trunk designed for the winf to be added dont they?
